Litteraly played my original copy of Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on my OG ps2 and controller and it worked almost perfectly. But ps3 ? Jesus christ they are all fucked up beyond salvation. i also have a legit grave of ps4 controllers lol wich some are frankenstein monsters hybrids with other parts of broken controller lmaoooo. I even have two fucking ps5 controller with the up arrow not working for whatever reasons so i decided fuck it and roll with it.

The lore vid I watched ages ago said that the Chimera we see are not the true or real Chimera but rather the previous alien race that the Chimera infected or manipulated. The person from lore vid said that the Chimera maybe an invading alien race that bolster its military by converting biologic creatures into soldier of their own. This was like a 2016-2019 days I watch this stuff

Basically is that the chimera sometimes kidnaps humans and assimilate them into the ranks, and in the PSP version, they even explain what happens to the female chimera. Not to mention that the main character brother in the game gets infected in slowly turns into a chimera only to be mercy killed by his brother.

Thank you for covering this. This series was so grossly underrated. A halo killer it wasn’t but it was entirely special in its own right, the co-op/competitive of the second game is still some of my favourite multiplayer to date. Ted Price is a bit of a shadow of his former ambitious self, a shame.

The real problem comes with the fact that resistance is the middle child of insomniacs games. Compared to their success with R&C and Spider-Man, resistance is the middle child’s who’s only purpose was to compete with halo.

This is probably one of the first games I finished- I played through the campaign co-op with my dad and sister as I went through sending one out to die so the other can respawn with the next. One time we stayed up so late playing with my sister and dad that when my mom got home from work and we were supposed to be asleep he told us to run upstairs and act asleep so it looked like he was playing the game. Staple memory of my childhood. I was like 8.

Two did technically have a co-op mode, but it’s unfortunately practically impossible to play anymore. The idea was that players could join each other online and play together as a series of different classes in a campaign parallel to the single-player one, but that became impossible when all the servers were shut down. You can technically still play split-screen in that mode, but that only allows two people at a time, and since the mode was optimized for at least one of three different classes playing together, it just isn’t very viable anymore sadly.

My favorite grenade in the game was the hedgehog grenade. They were especially awesome if you got the enemy close to a wall. Because you could then pin the enemies to the wall using the hedgehog grenade.😊

I remember when thus was new as a kid. It was soo good I really enjoyed it. I was an addict as a kid to this game. It was amazing. Was kind of shocked I didn't hear more people enjoyed it that much. They had one title that you could play different classes on multi-player and level up getting new unlocks and perks. I forgot which resistance title that was but thay was my favorite, so good.
