I started watching Supernatural since Season 1. I'm between Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki's age in real life. I felt like I grew along these guys from young dudes to older adults now. It's going to be sad when it ends after this season.

They could do a dimension hop to this anime in an episode this season. They did cartoon crossovers before. Anime is just japanese made cartoons with a different name that people swears by. They even did an episode where Sam and Dean (live action version) were put inside a 60s cartoon world. Supernatural anime could as well be a parallel dimension at this point. They could have Sam and Dean meet their anime counterparts, but voiced by their respective Japanese VO actors, they voiced the anime Sam and Dean but was also the VO for Supernatural's Japanese release.

Supernatural is a fantastic show about two guys of different heights who go around fighting super natural bad things. They also fight with each other a lot in very entertaining ways. In the course of fighting, whether it is with each other or with bad scary supernatural things, a hilarious mix of both scary and funny things usually happen. One of these guys is an angel named Castiel and the other is a demon from Hell named Crowley. Oh yeah, and then there's also these two brothers and a car that are part of the show too.

Instead of the proposed prequel with Dean narrating about the hunting adventures with The Winchester Parents, I wish this anime could be rebooted instead. 1st: Bring back the original J2... 2nd: Keep the anime running for at 4 more seasons with each season having 26 episodes. 3rd: Keep the same format as season 1... animated version of some episodes with a small handful of original content which will keep the main plots without the filler. 4th: Have beloved secondary characters sketched like their live-action counterparts. (I'm sorry but the anime Bobby... no... just... no. Same with anime Mary & Jessica... no. And don't even get me started with Missouri.) 5th (and finally): BRING CASS BACK! MISHA COLLINS VOICEOVER... NO EXCEPTIONS!

I'm a little sad that they never continued this. Supernatural done through anime?! Sign me up! Although, I will admit that the anime series was better when it was doing something new or something different with the already existing episodes. That said, with the main show now finished and no other spin-offs having taken off, I think bringing back the anime would be a great idea. I would even give the green-light to do whatever they wanted. And I bet Jenson Ackles wouldn't mind returning for the chance to do the role again, especially if he wanted to do a different take to some extent.

One thing the anime improves upon the original series, imo, is the monster designs. I still like the original series, but felt that most of the monster designs were lazy and uncreative. The werewolves are a prime example. I'm not a big fan of Lycans just being regular people with longer nails and teeth, so it was a breath of fresh air that the anime made the werewolves look like werewolves (almost like something from "The Howling").
