When my son - my only child- was 18 he walked away from me. I have not seen him or spoken to him since, as he has rejected all my attempts to reach out. After 4 yrs of intense pain, confusion, guilt, anger and grief, the Lord gave me a prophetic word through a stranger that my son & I would reconcile in joy. I saved the note she scribbled to me and framed it. It sits on my nightstand as a reminder of God’s promise. 11 years later, my son is now 34. Wow. Every word always totally blows my mind. Feels like it is just for me (sorry for being so selfish). Today I basically gave up....waiting. And flirted with someone I should not have. And I messed up a little bit, but before things got out of hand the Holy Spirit prompted me: Choose life. Choose to trust God. Choose obedience. Choose to wait. Live by faith and not by sight. Be light and salt and different than the world. God gives us much more than the world can give us. But we do get weak moments. Its difficult to hang on to a hope.....not even a promise. But I quess we choose God first, and we trust the Holy Spiritis' voice. And even if we do not get what we want in this word, we chose God 1st. Thanks for your faith...and that us as christians are standing together and get together because of your videos. Be blessed.
