@Kyle Watson I can understand being bitter towards someone like Paul who made personal attacks, but Dan was extremely respectful and kind in the house. The BB14 cast got bitter about gameplay, most other seasons the jury got bitter because of personal attacks.

@Kyle Watson in Ian’s answers he was straight up lying about his gameplay, and took credit for things he was really a puppet in, so it’s understandable. All the jury house segments showed that Dan had no chance, and Will said 90% of the time the jury already know who they’re voting for before the questions.

I find it sad that they can't look at the genius that is Dan's game for what it is. I can't imagine being a fan of this game and not being able to enjoy his game play.. they're missing out.

I know this is literally years late but I just saw this, and after listening to the full video, I gotta say that I would give both hands, my left foot, and my right eye to go back in time and have Taran be doing live feed updates during this. I would have loved to have seen his reaction to it playing out live, and giving the updates as he slowly realized that this was actually going to work.

I remember when Dan lost I said I would never watch Big Brother again. I’ve watched every season but I’ve always hated the fact that he didn’t win that season. He deserved it so much. I hate a bitter jury! I was not a fan of Paul but thought he deserved to win as well.

However if we imagine that they come in as new players as well in this era, Dan has the edge on comps but id imagine Will would play same game as Kevin from BBCAN 10, minimum comp wins but maximum manipulation... today's BB players wouldn't know what to do with someone as smart and disarmingly charming as Dr Will. Lol

I love how there’s an hour and 2 minute long set up to how painstakingly clear it was that Dan’s BB career was over. Basically a full case is made regarding how no one left in the game even has a choice to keep Dan for political reasons, and how the perfect storm of events transpired to keep Dan from any power. But the best part is that it wasn’t over.

The show covered up him being a disgusting person especially towards Dan. They wanted to paint Dan as the bad guy and they did, that’s why Frank won. Also, Franks personality showed in the other big brother he was on and they decided not to cover that up.

Season 14 was a great season to watch. Some of my favorites came back like Britney, Janelle but especially Dan. He was always so compelling to watch.There was real strategizing going on. They took risks, Interesting players, loved Ian too. Take note production.

@@best377100 its not about being popular, it's about realizing what each person on the jury wants. If somebody wants a ruthless game, you take them out. If they want "honesty" you have to either be honest when letting them go or manipulate the house into taking them out for you. Dans funeral was one of his better moves for jury because Brittany actually recognized how good it was but he failed in other ways.

As much as Dan is touted as the best player ever, I remember being a huge Ian fan that season, and was ecstatic that he won. Dan played the game like a chessmaster, and as Michie/Jackson would say, "chestnut checkers" when it comes to Big Brother. But people are not chess pieces, and Dan did not stick the landing in his Final 2 speech, whereas Ian totally nailed it. I still think Ian was a very deserving winner, especially since we have winners like Adam and Jordan and Josh.

It's easy to say someone is oblivious as if that is a character flaw, but when they are being actively deceived, it's easy to see why they make decisions based on what they personally know. Ian didn't have the feeds. I don't expect him to just spontaneously know what is being said in other rooms, behind closed doors, just because I know what is being said.

@@TB-kl5vn well, one of these gentlemen played a game that got him to one of the final two chairs, and lost. The other played a game that got him to one of the final two chairs, and won. Ian didn't play a more entertaining game, or a more 'strategic' game, but he did play a winning game. Dan was always playing for second place, and Ian knew it. That's why Ian was never afraid of sitting next to Dan in the Final 2. That's a remarkable insight in and of itself.

I appreciate other opinions and Ian is a good kid, but it depends on what perspective you take..Dan was a nicest winner after season 10. Now he comes back and actually became a satan of the game. Did I like what he did to HGs? NO! I hated it! I felt horrible, but then I look from a perspective of the game....And I can't deny the brilliance of his mind and the way he made it HIS game. His impact is so undeniable and in the end of the day I respect a good game. Because it's a game.
