Wow. My 27yo blind and developmentally disabled son loves her music and asks for "Mandisas" [her songs] in his mp3 player when he does a good job with something. We love her music too. I believe we'll meet her someday.

Mandisa was an absolutely stunning Talent who was plagued by the demons of depression and wanted to make sure the subject was not swept under the rug. That's why it's so important for the body of Christ to do all that they are supposed to do. KZbin has a wonderful movie that's available to stream called "come out in Jesus name". Every true Christian Church should start considering this

TBH…. I didn’t know a lot about Mandisa however the outpouring LOVE she has received since her passing has prompted me to look more deeply. Being a MH counselor she spoke so much positivity and awareness regarding depression. I’m surprised I haven’t heard about her before. What I will say since her passing, MANDISA is speaking loud. You hear me, she is touching souls after her passing . I’ve been watching her videos and listening to her music. I also have purchased her book. I believe Mandisa will be remembered as a positive example for many years to come. ❤❤❤

"The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence." Ps. 115:17 Regarding the dead, Jesus only said that they were "asleep", "sleeping," or dead. Search the scriptures and you'll never find where Jesus or any of the disciples said that the dead were in the grave and alive in heaven simultaneously. The dead are only in one place, the grave, until the resurrection.

When Jesus walked the earth, He never once said that the dead were already in heaven with His Father. He only said that they were "asleep", "sleeping", or dead. Same applies to His dear friend Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead after four days. The dead are only in the grave until the resurrection.

@Joie2U the body is in the grave but the spirit never dies. "Absent from the body is present with the Lord". Jesus also said to the criminal that was next to him when He was on the cross. The criminal believed in Jesus and Jesus told Him that he would be with Him in paradise".

@@rynnykitty6945 Yes, Jesus did promise eternal life to the thief on the cross, but that promise was not fulfilled that same day. Why? Because Jesus Himself did not immediately return to Heaven when He died, but He remained in the tomb until resurrection morning. He even told Mary Magdalene not to touch Him because He hadn't ascended yet to the Father. Only after He went home to Heaven and later appeared to His disciples did He allow Thomas to touch Him.

For those who have not heard, Mandisa did Not harm herself. She was recovering from C19 and had an mishap causing her to fall down in her bedroom - her phone was out of reach on the opposite side of the bed. Mandisa was unable to call for help and died. LOVE YOU Mandisa! I will always treasure her music, story and encouraging words.
