Hey Paul. Thank you for sharing this. What a precious memorial for your friend. I’ll never forget leading worship in 2017 in Romania with Will Graham. There was a choir of 2,400 young people, and they sang Jack’s song Majesty with such passion. The whole arena singing along. Someone told me it was the most loved song in the Romania ‘Church’. The Body of Messiah. I was so moved, it wasn’t the latest song released, but they recognized quality and didn’t care about its age. What a lesson. Thank you’d or sharing about Jack. God comfort you. Dear Pastor Jack was genuine in his love for the body of Christ. My daughter 14 at the time, travelled to Israel with a group he and Anna hosted. My daughter sang Amazing Grace at a church before he joined group. Anna must’ve mentioned it to him. He asked my daughter to sing it again after building altar at Caesarea the next day. As she sang, tears streamed down his face as his heart postured in praised before the Lord. His and Anna’s encouragement sparked a young worship leader that day. Over 15 years later, my daughter is still leading worship as the Hayfords’ encouraged, always from the heart, for an audience of ONE.

My most treasured Bible is the "New Spirit-Filled Life Bible" of which Pastor Jack Hayford was the senior editor. It is absolutely packed with references, footnotes, commentaries, definitions, and much more. He was a mentor to many, many people through it, and his preaching and commentaties. So sad to hear of his passing, but he is now in Glory, and we will see him there. Condolences and blessings to his family and loved ones.

I was 17 when I visited a friend and went to Church on The Way with her. Pastor Jack preached and I heard what salvation truly meant, and how Adonai loved us so. I repented and prayed that night. I am so very grateful that Adonai led me to the church that night. I will always remember Pastor Jack❤️Prayers for comfort for his family, friends and all those lives that he brought the message of life to.

Pastor Hayford is one of the spiritual giants in God's kingdom. Still have wonderful memories of his last message when he visited a 4 square church I believe his brother started in Danville, CA ( The Rock Church). Little did I realize it would be his last. I was standing on a corner and heard a vehicle driving behind me. I turned and Pastor Jack was a passenger smiling at me with a big thumbs up. I celebrate your life and your ministry and thank you for your dedication.

Beautiful tribute. I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1980 under Jack Hayford’s ministry at Church on the Way in Van Nuys, CA. Although that was many years ago, Jack Hayford still lives on through The Spirit Filled Bible that he published and that I use every day. I just know that he has a humongous mansion in Heaven so that he can receive all the visits of those that he touched on earth.

I learned so many things about prayer and worship from Pastor Jack Hayford. The book " Prayer is invading the impossible" by Pastor Jack was one of my favorite books on prayer. Pastor Jack was a well-respected man of integrity and my hero. Good bye Pastor Jack, we will see you in heaven.

I’m sorry to hear of his departure, I met him personally when I visited The church on the way at the time of transitioning him to the next pastor. I was blessed to buy the Bible that he helped editing. My prayers for his family and grieving of his loss. I’m grieving with them too! I had a testimony while I was in Los Angeles. His prayer meeting service on Wednesdays, saved my life. I was about to died far away from my family, buy God met me there. Thank you Lord for Pastor Hayford’s Ministry. 🙏🙏🙏😭😭

I remember Pastor Jack very well and listening to his sermons for years. When he would mention his wife Anna you would begin to feel as if you knew her as well. His messages always given so eloquently given with reverence and holiness towards our Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus and The Holy Spirit. His authenticity never wavered.

I went to Church on the Way while visiting a sister in the Lord in Van Nuys. He preached that day. I met and spoke with Pat Boone that day. He was going to do a commercial later so he explained why the makeup. Very good experience being there. I think it was late 80s. I must say Pastor Chuck Smith nurtured me for years on the radio in Boston though. I had visited that church in Costa Mesa and it was really mind blowing, the amounts of people that flock to these churches. We may not have these buildings soon. Just remember we are the living stones, a building not made with hands.

Beautiful tribute to Pastor Jack. As I was listening, I realized that the Holy Spirit wanted me to play Majesty at church last week but there was some miscommunication with the pastor and so it didn’t get done. I repent for not following the Holy Spirit because it was just a few days later I learned that Pastor Jack had passed.

Pastor Jack was befriends with our pastor Hamilton in Portland,Oregon. I remember their life stories. They are all untitled in heaven with the King of Kings!…and their wives. I can only imagine ❤
