i have been watching general hospital for a long time mom. has been watching since 1963 when it was in black and white this was a great episode 2 day what a great tribute to john Reilly i have an autograph picture of him i wrote to him when he was on general hospital i will treasure it he was great and general hospital was great back then and great now John Reilly you will be missed and remembered rip a fan who love d you as Sean

Same for me Teresa, your comment moved me - I got my late dad into GH & when I moved overseas he would type a summary of each episode! I still have them. This Sean tribute/memorial is so good, he was super in GH. I also like seeing the "old timers" which makes it even more moving.

What a great Tribute, I am a little younger to know about when Sean Donely was on GH. But I think of him seeing him back when I was smaller Because my mom watch it when I was smaller and still does. I said to my self oh I remember this man. I have to say what a great Tribute to Sean Donely even though I only remember him that way. RIP Sean Donely

I love when soap operas pay tribute to the actors, and the characters, when they pass away. It gives a sense of closure; and, that no one else will ever replace that actor in that role, it is finished. Back in the 70's I remember the tribute they did for Bert Bauer on Guiding Light, it was beautiful. The actress that played Bert Bauer started that role when the show started on radio. Then with the invention of television, she moved with the show from radio to TV. As she grew older and retired, her character went to a senior care facility, the family would talk about visiting. They never replaced her, when the actress died, so did the character. Doing the tribute show is such a loving gesture on the shows part. I'm glad they included his real daughter as his character's daughter, that was sweet. She got to receive condolences for both her father, and the character he played. Is this the first time Felicia's headshot has appeared in the new GH introduction? I hope that this means we will be seeing more of her. Anyway, this was a beautiful tribute. I knew John Reilly for his role of Alistair Crane on Passions, but this is an amazing tribute they did to him. No other soap does tribute episodes for past actors like GH.

Yes it sure was a great episode loved that they put this memorial together for Sean Donnelly I definitely remember watching gh as far back in the early 80's and watching Sean character he definitely was a charmer and very handsome man.

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved the flashbacks. At first I was wondering why Monica was there. Then I remembered she had an affair with Sean. She cheated on Alan. I don’t think Sean was married to Tiffany yet. I totally forgot about that it was over 30 years ago. I did have tears at the end. Now I’ll have to watch old GH episodes with Sean in them.

Writers need to brush up on their canon a bit! While it was a shame their wasnt even a mention of Luke......Sean's memorial was in Ireland! What other GH legacy character ALSO happens to be in Ireland??? 🤔🤔🤔 Lucky F'n Spenser!!! A simple comment about him being with Tiffany for his dad to spread Sean's ashes would've been nice & at least tied abit to Sean's last televised "case" with Luke!

I understand the logistics with Tony living in Amsterdam & Jonathan living in Ireland, them not being able to physically get them, but Anna having a Zoom call with Luke would've worked like what they did with Laura & Tiffany! It was just more obvious about Lucky because he lives in Ireland, & we're supposed to believe his mom traveled all that way and theres not even a mention!

Here are my thoughts: his daughter the tiktok sensation, is an improvement over the previous actress that portrayed Annie. She definitely needs acting lessons, you could tell she didn't know where her mark was and some interaction was awkward when she spoke over other cast members. Maybe she could return one day as a possible love interest for Chase. Sean was written in as a villain and this was acknowledged. Disappointed that Laura did not reminisce about the Aztec Treasure adventure with Luke and Robert as the show transitioned to the Frisco and Felicia as stars. At least Felicia did name drop Mr All I Need. Monica was a nice touch. Bobby with Maxie also a nice touch. Both haven't been on screen in ages. It seems like this episode will be in lieu of the Nurses Ball this year? Convenient that all legacy characters hopped on a plane to Ireland like they were flying to Philadelphia, just in time for the service. And had time to plan this rouse for Annie. Tiffany doesn't appear on camera probably for good reason as Sharon sounded like she was on her death bed. She didn't inquire how her nephew Lucas was hanging in or how her old buddy Jackie is doing back in Port Chuck. Robin still holding onto that baby weight. She looked awkward in most of her scenes.

I agree with you on the Tiffany/Lucas connection. It's almost as if no one remembers Cheryl, not even Robert. And while I enjoyed the tribute, Sean was among my fav characters, I was disappointed no mention of Luke or even Holly, because of their past connection to Sean, but especially since they were the last ones that we saw see him onscreen when chasing down the antidote for Luke's radiation poisoning and Luke is the one who makes sure Sean gets the antidote as he was poisoned also.

Sharon Wyatt (who played Tiffany) has had medical problems for years, I remember fondly and am grateful she was able to participate in some way
