Remembering WXRT Chicago radio host Lin Brehmer

I was lucky enough to listen to Lin all through my 20s, 30s and 40s always appreciated his amazing wit, great taste in music, love of our great city and above all his kindness, was lucky enough to meet him a few times over the years at shows he was as genuine as they come. I’ll miss Lin’s Bin so so much!!!! It’s great to be alive but it’s a sad sad day for Chicago and the world in general

Lin Brehmer was WXRT during his shift. Down to earth, warm and thoughtful guy. Really enjoyed his show. Will definitely miss him on the radio! Great to hear all of the WXRT people too!

Terri...I feel like you might just be one of the most fortunate of people....to actually have Lin as your best friend And to share the oyster po boy.
