I think your project was well thought out, and works, and looks great. Building things yourself is very cool, and rewarding-great job!!!

I'll be darn what an Idea wish I would have thought of that. I might make mine 4 wheel. I like the tubular frame also. Great job ol' chap.
@RememberTheSlapFilms6 ай бұрын
The only problem with four wheels is you can't run up planks. Sometimes you need to throw a plank down over a trench or up a step.. could use two planks I suppose.

Saw off the front wheel, and it will be absolutely fine.

The "emergency break" version.

simple and practical! Great video - thanks. Have you thought about parking brake - in case you loading stones or dumping gravel from small truck the wheelbarrow better be stable. I'd think a big log under wheels would do.
@RememberTheSlapFilms6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I never needed a break, since the kind of weight I move around is not big. But on hills it would be nice to have. Maybe a bicycle style break.

Nice job...enjoyed this video...will attempt it this weekend.

Sweet! If you can, try to get the handles the right hight before you fix the wheels in place, if the handles are just a little too low it defeats the purpose as you still have to apply upward lift, or you have to stoop slightly.

What a great idea! I'm glad I saw this video. Thanks

Is this any more stable with heavy loads of dirt when moving long distances, does it want to tip in the way of the heaviest side opposed to a two-wheel front wheelbarrow which is incredibly stable at the front?
@RememberTheSlapFilms3 жыл бұрын
It's much more stable.
@mytube43854 жыл бұрын
It only works if it had a brake ...otherwise you cant controll it in slope with heavy load..

well done! I like those PU foam wheels.Hope they are the products of our company,lol
@RememberTheSlapFilms7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Scarlett, but they're not PU foam - just normal tubeless. I have a foam main wheel on my other barrow though, good product.

I bet it is a bear to turn when loaded down.
@RememberTheSlapFilms Жыл бұрын
@@oleguy5705 Not really. No more so than a regular wheelbarrow. The back wheels add a little weight obviously, but it's minimal. This is offset by the handles being at a higher resting height when you lift to turn. Less vertical distance to lift = less energy expenditure. Also, if you're pushing or pulling it loaded, you're not applying lift to the handles most of the time, so you save a lot of energy - this saved energy way more than offsets the few pounds of weight of the wheels and axle. Also, you can turn by pushing down on the handles to wheelie the main wheel. Depends how you load the tub.

If you want to drill a tube (square or round) and you find the drill is dancing or wandering, use a center punch. Strike it with a hammer whjere you want to drill and the drill will set in the hole as it turns

Yeah thats true - I have one, guess I couldn't find it in my messy shed. Thanks for your comment!

The dud building the wheel barrow tapping the thread with steel hamer smart move now nut wont go on 😰
@RememberTheSlapFilms6 жыл бұрын
Spoiler - the nut went on no problem. On small gauge threads I would agree, you have to go gently, but with 20mm the threads are pretty durable. If you are worried about it, just put the nut on first and leave it jus proud of the thread end and whack the nut instead.
