I did see a few tents… figured it was the guys running the gun and didn’t want to bother them as it was just a small group. According to the Farms facebook, there was supposed to be a night fire and bonfire Saturday night, I went out there, very dark, no lights, except for what looked like a pick up truck out by those few tents. Sucks I missed ya, spent the rest of the evening bored at the hotel, would have like to have done something.. like ya said… next time!

Got too love the beer garden at Sweeny Tavern esp in kit sitting by the fire, Well you could always try staying at the Colton Motel LOL. trying to get into many of the popular eats can be tough on Remembrance Day esp with all the reenactors in town. We are getting ready for next weekends Plymouth Ma "America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Parade" (praying for good weather)

Yeah, don’t think I’ll be staying here again, not a total dump, but could definitely use a update. Don’t mind the wait times in restaurants as there is usually something in walking distance to kill time. A lot of MA events this coming year, I will hopefully attending some.

Bid Light?????
@CHAP316Күн бұрын
Yeah.. I could listen to and be offended by every actor, politician and half brain, but there wouldn’t be much to eat, drink or watch. I’ve been drinking bud light for decades and no dude in a mini-skirt will offend me enough to change my ways. But, I will drink any other white trash, cheap, crappy beer if the establishment I’m at doesn’t sell it for… reasons.

I didn't know you guys in the US did remembrance day. I thought you guys called it veterans day. Or is this something just for the civil war?
@CHAP3167 күн бұрын
Remembrance Day is a day celebrated just in the town of Gettysburg,PA to remember the fallen from the battle. Followed shortly there after with Dedication Day to celebrate the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address.

@CHAP316 in Canada every November 11 is Remembrance day. We remember all our fallen from every war. We wear red poppy's pinned over our hearts that buy for 2 bucks from the various veterans organizations. It's not really a day of celebration. Mote a day of somber thought. Although we do have ceremonies parades and prayer.

@@davidedwards3838I think using “celebrate” might be a bad choice for words on my part, but it is a long running tradition in this town that many look forward too, but I do feel, that celebrate is one of many words that is fitting for the description of the Gettysburg Address, as it is, the most important speech in American History.
@davidedwards38387 күн бұрын
@CHAP316 nice. I wasn't taking as shot at you using the word celebrate. I was more explaining the difference between veterans day and remembrance day. Anyways thanks for that but of context and knowledge. I think this came in my feed. Because I have been watching some videos on the civil war.

No offense taken… if interested in the Civil War, be sure to watch videos from the American Battlefield Trust.. some very interesting in detail videos… and more about the town of Gettysburg itself… the best videos come from The Adams County Historical Society. My poorly made videos are more for my enjoyment then any actual public entertainment… but thanks for watching!
