I salute the fellow brothers of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. From the Irish Brigade Camp #4 Fredericksburg, VA. Remember our boys in blue. Also the members of the Lincoln Forum meeting at this time in Gettysburg.

It still brings goosebumps to me. I come from a long line of the military in my family from both of my parents side. Many fought in the War of 1812, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War. Many were a part of the Union Many the Confederate. Many were my Great (8× - 5th) Grandfather's, Great (8× - 5th) Uncles. Some lived to see WWI and some WWII but were far beyond the years of battle. This was an amazing video. Thank you so much for sharing. To think, my grandfather's and uncles before me wore those uniforms during their lifetime.

Very sad, ...years ago (in the 80s/90s) that parade went on for miles with hundreds and of hundreds of reenactors being cheered by spectators 3-4 deep on both sides of the streets. As having been both a Confederate and Union reenactor in the 80s/90's, I must admit that the Confederates always received the loudest cheers. What the Democrats and complacent RINO's have done to American history is a crime.

Very true. I'm 21 and was in the parade and just started the hobby this year, and everyone is much older than myself. We need more young people to know the importance of this history!

Let me know if you're in need of kit, I have a garage of stuff from over 30 years in the hobby. Including a saddle with a sharps. I have NO use for this stuff and was going to sell it. Let me know. @@mrman135
