Remembrance Sunday 2023 Sheerness

Record crowds attended this year's Remembrance Sunday service at Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey. The parade was led by the Sheppey St John Ambulance marching band and the service was taken by the Revs Colin Johnson and Jeanette McLaren. Two new plinths, paid for by Sheerness Town Council, were also unveiled to commemorate the crews who died on the HMS Princess Irene and HMS Bulwark
