Remington Model 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader best shooting load for me.

First day sighting in my Model 700 Muzzleloader. I was very surprised with the bore sighting accuracy. Good job Mike. I tried multiple pellets and bullets. I found the Triple Seven Magnums using 3 pellets (180 grains of powder) with the Barnes 250 sabot worked best for me. I cleaned the barrel after each shot. 1 wet patch followed by 2 dry patches. I found the 2 1/2" patches worked the best. The 2" patches had a tendency of falling off the ram rod while pulling it out.

I have the same gun and scope except my Luepold is the nickel color. Love the gun but heavy.

Blackhorn 209 measured by weight is the only way to go. A lot more consistent than pellets, and much cleaner.

Been reading some FB pages and some say not to shoot from a lead sled to save your scope...dunno! I have a Leupold as well.

DON'T believe everything you read on the internet. If a lead sled blows up your scope you needed a new one. I use the exact sled shown in this vid on some really heavy kickers and never damaged a scope. Burris, Bushnell and Leupy will take a beating.
