I noticed that the fan is hooked up to the 110V adapter, which draws power from the grid, if that's the case: no base for comparison...

Does it need to be plugged in if you're using the WiFi to control humidity and the thermostat or will it work with just the solar power? Also, will it run at night if the attic is still hot? I have ample sunlight with no shade on my roof. Thinking if this will run it all night from all that solar power?

The Wi-Fi adapter will run without house power as long as their solar power. Therefore, you can expect the Wi-Fi adapter to run only during the daytime when the sun is out. However, it will run at night with the 110 V adapter.

Is your fan hooked up to AC?

it is, but it won’t run if the sun is out. kind of a clever product.

Do all Remington solar fans have adjustable panels? If so, how much tilt is possible?
@RemingtonSolar5 ай бұрын
The 30w and 40w tilt at 45 degrees. The 20w does not tilt.

That is not a real house. Think what the outside would look like. The flashings would almost be touching each other. That is in a studio.

Ha. I wish it was in a studio. A customer asked us to come out and install one next to his other one. My warehouse mgr installed it and thought it was interesting so he made a vid on his phone.
