You should try the Federal BOR Lock MZ. Also, Colorado doesn’t allow pellets

Blackhorn 209 doesnt work as well. With the hole in the tripple seven, and the magnum primer, the powerder burns off before the bullet moves 9" in the barrel. Loose powder cant burn as fast.

I agree when I tested Blackhorn 209 there was always unburned powder found in the barrel when cleaning...the T7 pellets burn clean.

I have the details in my cellphone library, all you people making these videos, I've got a marine buddy, he zerod, his wife's muzzle loader in at 100yds, with hornady bore drivers and got shot pattern of, 1.25 , I'd like to see you match that, the powerbelts are not written in stone, the only thing I will willingly put the GOD'S GOSPEL ON IS THE GOSPEL, I will not put the gospel on anything else, simply because human errors will very from shooter to shooter, everyone uses different powder loads and bullet weights and everyone will get different results, that's the freaking f------ ,difference, the sooner everyone realizes that any these videos and the people who are making the videos are using maybe only one r two different muzzle bullets, when there's about half a dozen in variety, the average powder load is between 80-150gr, and if your satisfied with one recommendation, and you go with that blindly, that's your choice, but like I said, there's about 5,6. ,,, different bullets on the market, try to do more target shooting testing practice research, I'll just bet you can find a better choice,

I don’t speak boomer real well, what is a “cell phone library”?

As I am referring to the idea of possibly looking at it as a cellphone library, I wanted to start saving videos in on my cellphone, "" some how,,,,so I started using my phone identification as private security to start saving various different points of interest, I must have just many different points of interest, plus my KZbin library is perty much tracks everything ,and I also use Google when ever I need it, and a library means exactly what it means, you have 5 different points of interest, or you have 30,50 different points of interest, anything that is connected to your livelihood, I'm hoping to get a computer system together in the future so I put everything on flash drive tera drives storage, different points of interest on separate different storages, keeping things separate, if you throw everything on one storage, it would make it really hard to find anything, it's all about having an organized library/computer system, get the idea now,

FYI - It isn't the sabot making your barrel dirty, its the 777, just happens that those powerbelts load super loose.. Switch to blackhorn 209 if you haven't by now and youll be MUCH happier.

I agree custom muzzleloaders are expensive and out of reach for most people. I know a gunsmith that can convert one of your Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloaders to smokeless for $1000-1600 or so depending on what options you want . He's doing mine for $1500 because I wanted all the options I don't have now such as a muzzle break and Hankins Ignition System. Gun shoots 275 grain Parker BE's at 3000 fps bullet to bore. If you want more info let me know.

I'm very interested in the powder you choose. Also the fps your getting. I'm only shooting 2150fps with a parker black max flat base 300gr. This gun is good out 430 yards. But I'm trying to reach 500 in your opinion is that possible. Keep in mind I'm fairly new to muzzleloaders

@@that1archerguy_458 Powder depends on bullet weight. I shoot Reloader 10x with a 303 gr Pittman Aeromax at 2962 fps. This load is safe in my gun only. The shank on my muzzleloader is 1.25"x5". This is safe only in my gun.

If I went from 300gr bullet to a 250gr how much of an impact on fps would it be roughly?

@@that1archerguy_458 It's hard to say because when I shoot bullets from 250gr to 275 gr different powder is used. When shooting these weight bullets with the same powder charge there is only 20 to 30 fps difference. Keep in mind this is with smokeless powder. This is in a 26" custom Brux barrel with Federal 215 primers and IMR 4198. Never use smokeless powder in blackpowder gun. My gun is purpose built to handle these loads.

I got one with the bell an Carlson stock .I use black horn 209 weight out on powder scales 100grains .bob parker's bullets 275 ballistic extreme. Fed 215 magum. Shoot very will.0 at hundred yard dead on at 200 yds.

Yeah I should have made it clear I have tried it and it wasn't noticeably more accurate or higher velocity at max load...and thanks not a knock on BH 209 it really points to the quality of the muzzleloaders...I keep it simple with the pellets and they are consistent .5 MOA or better.

I tried both and the 3 777 magnum pellets seem almost more accurate I averaged 2380 with the pellets and Remmington 250 bullet/sabots .75 group at 100 yards and 5" group at 300 yards with a Nikon Prostaff inline muzzy scope

Don’t load it too hot Remington isn’t covering burnt out breech plugs which has been a major issue👍
