Commemoration of 183rd Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Deva.'REMINISCENCES', Selected videos of Parampujyapad Swami Gahananandaji Maharaj : Most Revered Swami Gahanandaji Maharaj was the fourteenth President of Ramakrishna Math and Mission. He was born on 4th October, 1916 on the lunar day of Mahashtami of Durga Puja in Paharpur Village of Shyhet, presently in Bangladesh. His life has been the ideal of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission - an outstanding example of the synthesis of service and yoga. In spite of being at the help of many colossal welfare activities of the order, as a person he was calm, meditative and a man of steady wisdom.
In the last one and a half decades of his life, Swami Gahanandaji, taking upon himself the important responsibility of establishing Sri Ramakrishna, the divine incarnation of this era, in the hearts of people, travelled far and wide in villages. Towms and countries and inspired innumerable men and women. At that time, people witnessing Swami Gahanandaji showing grace, were fascinated. They wished to firmly implant the harbinger of Sri Ramakrishna in their hearts.
It is cause of happiness that quite a few videos of Revered Maharaj at that time have been collected. Some parts of these videos that show Revered Maharaj in the background of different locations have been compiled in this offering. It has not been possible to maintain a seriality of the videos as they were taken extemporaneously. But just as the same soul is inseparably attached to every part of the body, so also in each of the videos taken at different times in different places, the captivating presence of Revered Maharaj has given a sense of completeness to the seemingly detached videos, if even for a moment, while watching these moving pictures, the sweet tremor of voice of the days gone by, brought to a standstill now, is awakened in a heart, that will be the fulfillment of this production.

The commentary is too 'loud' if you get what I mean. The commentator's vocal presence should be considerably less for ease of communication and lack of disruption of the overall harmony of the presentation.
