The only reason I can make anything worth listening to is because of Kenny. You are a central figure to a lot of us Kenny, thank you!

AI split the files, but YOUR creativity is what actually transformed the song. Very cool remix!

Came to say this, AI tools are powerful and didn't know what to think when I saw the video's title, but it's the thought behind the arrangement from Kenny that really makes everything make sense :)

The thing is, the AI stems is the least important part, great content , a lot of insight!

I was wondering how long it was going to be before Reaper makes a stem splitting tool. I've posted some remixes using stems from Moises but keeping it in house would be much better. This mix is next level. Nice job Kenny, top notch as always 👌 Edit... I've never used Voice AI before. I just did. I think it's better

You can also use this to remove bleed from a recording, say guitar from vocals for example

@@fjkldhakljf I noticed the degrading - the drums and bass are missing. I see the signal though in REAPER.

I'm usually not much of a fan of jumping into bandwagons, but for reaper to jump into the AI stem separation bandwagon wouldn't be so detrimental for us users.

If you or your client own the rights to a work you think to upload to any AI, check the terms of service VERY carefully, especially anything that's free. If you can't make sense of the legalese, have a music attorney look it over.

The real question is whether the AI generated stems will null with the original, and how well the machine does with less traditional music.
@REAPERMania5 сағат бұрын
I think the idea is that it doesn't need to be perfect. You can mask it quite often in other ways. And if you were hired to do a proper remix, they would send you the stems.

Well I doubt AI splitters will work for my niche. Reaper has for a long time been brilliant for batches and making stems. I am more interested in going back in time to scripting LUA and other languages with AI tools like DeepSeek. I may not need the long lists of actions and fewer tutorials in Reaper again. It is a bit of an epiphany how well it works for rusty old scripters I am giving myself more than six months to change out much of my workflow

The perfect solution for me is the stem splitter in Izotope RX (it's called Music Rebalance there), which after splitting nulls perfectly with the original. Granted, it's not free, and it only does 4 stems (drums, bass, voice, other), but it helped me A LOT when cleaning up live sound recordings to remove drum bleed in piano for instance; I don't really use it for remixing. My two cents.
