Man file based routing is confusing, it took a minute for me to get the hang of it and I still need to look at the docs in order to understand my routes. So I am really looking forward to this change.

Yeap, defining our routes in a single files or splitting the routes definitions based on a specific scope will be dope. Layouts also become easier!

Awesome system! What's the difference in workstation cpu load before and after the codegen addition? I assume hot type generation might take an extra toll on my machine, I wonder if it' s negligible.

I love the type-safe stuff, awesome work! One question, though, the fact that you're backporting this work to Remix makes me unsure which project to use, React Router or Remix? What will be the difference from now on?

Yes, you can opt out of Server Side rendering completely if you want, and you can use client loaders and actions (with or without SSR), just like what Remix had. This is all for the Vite plugin, you can still use React Router as a client-only navigation library.
