HOLY SHIT, this might be one of your best videos ever. All these Mashups/Lemotiffs make sense since they're all dead in a way. My Headcanon is that patient 0 is teaming up with the revived plague doctor to revive the gold titan. RPD has to be the best choice since he WAS dead and came back to life, so he'd have knowledge or a method to apply that to the Gold Titan. Speaking of G. Titan, his part was so sorrow and melanchollic, I'd think of it as despite the Doc and the patients efforts, they trully can't revive him in the end and he's trully gone since it's at the end of the song too. Trully poetic with the foreshadowings with Patient 0 on Guilded Path RPD's presence itself. Trully poetic, not only is this one of your best remixes but also a nice story of 2 scientists trying their best to revive a lost one, but inevitably have to accept their lost 10/10 Edit: I think why Patient 0 is trying to revive Gold Titan in the first place is bcuz he replaced his own mode, so it's sweet that he's putting all of this effort to bring back his predeseccors to pay tribute too. I'm not gonna make this about TDX, but this reminds me of what John is doing with TB, trying his best to make it relevant but deep down he knows it'll never bring it back Furthermore, it makes sense why these 2 are together despite them being from 2 different games, they both have a common goal despite being from different backgrounds thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

Another thing that also reinforces this theory is that in 1:42 it plays the famously known dont forget/freedom motif from deltarune, the freedom motif represents false freedom, denial or a false sense of liberty, a leitmotif used for jevil and spamton, two characters with different points of views. But stuck in the same boat, one thinks hes free and can do anything since nothing truly matters, the other sees the opposite, spamton with the knowledge that nothing is real, that nothing he does actually matters, he sees everything as pointless and he cant do anything, in the tds context, we could say that by that point, they're already losing their hopes, and at the end of the remix, they lost it. While the dont forget part, as you said, they didn't forget what the golden mode meant to tds, and another parallel of how john roblox denies that theres no hope for tower battles and continues trying to make it relevant again.
