Nightweaver's grab attack is especially awful in the alt kill, because it just ruins the alt kill altogether by restoring her heart and reverting back to the regular version of the fight.

I'm so glad you sang Annihilation's praises. My more casual friends hated him. "There's no cues" they said. "Too much visual clutter I have to turn my graphics down" they said. I was like WHAT? The fight looks beautiful, and every single move is perfectly telegraphed! Deadly but dodgeable! One of the best final bosses I've ever seen.

I hated Annhilation at first. 10 or so deaths, and I had to stop playing. But man, once I memorized him and had a decent build, it is one of my favorite bosses ever! It's so fun and satisfying

Most of my builds are light load/low armor, so I can't take more than one hit and it makes Apocalypse bosses soooo satisfying cause when I get through em, it's usually hitless or very close to hitless and I feel like I've really learned the fight. Annihilation is one of those bosses where I just get into a perfect rhythm and I know exactly what's coming and how to react. So glad to see other people enjoy him as much as I do! Plus that soundtrack is an absolute MASTERPIECE

When i fought Gwendolyn the unburnt her bombs did explode when shot. Not sure why your experience was differant. I love watching people fight nightweaver for the first time XD. Its hilarious to see people experience her. You can just run through the eggs in Shrewds fight and they break. No shooting required.

My rating: S tier: Annihilation, Sha’Hala, Kaeula and Nightweaver A tier: Ravager, Legion, Cube, Faelin, Venom, corruptor and Astropath B tier: Custodian’s eye, Cancer, Faerin, Primogenitor, Metaphysical Tal’ratha and red prince C tier: Tal’ratha, bloat king, mother mind, Shrud and dullian D tier: Gwendil Might have missed someone but i think i have most of them. I sadly couldn’t stay for the whole tier list but i had a fun time with the apoc streams in general. Keep up the good work!

1000% on Magistar. Drew him for my HC Vet and all I could do was run adventure for monarch and go with light dodge build just running around close to the walls shooting blind for 10 minutes as his one shot is such BS. Nightweaver grab for a kiss hitbox is indeed weird but at least you not dead. Mother Mind also can change her mind on which platform to destroy half way through

I started this game way late. I have a love/hate relationship with it thus far. When i’m cruising it’s fun but when i’m literally surrounded by thirteen flying enemies and a bow guy pops up, it seems so unfair. I’m playing solo.

I play solo as well my friend, and there’s never a bad time to get into the game!! If you find yourself surrounded (especially by the flying fuckers that can teleport) make sure you spot them before they spot you and take them out 1 by 1. It is easy to move up a bit too much on those Yaesha levels and have the blue and brown flyers maul you. I have faith in you. I had a mission to beat the game on Hardcore Apocalypse and failed until about my 500th hour (after about 30 or so separate attempts). The learning curve is steep but once you truly hit your stride, you’ll never look back!!

I have a lot of love for Cancer, but I think that love comes from his similarities in appearance, moveset, and theme to Harrsgaard from Rem 1. Your complains on him are 100% valid, but you gotta give him two things I think: 1: His theme is a fucking bop. 2: He's actually pretty fun if you fight him in a semi-close range style

I don't mind Cancer, I wish they gave it a bullet hell style attack intead of spamming Ground Slams constantly. But seeing a callback to Haarsgard was really cool, even shares a remake of it's OST. Venom should have been the first thing you fight when entering Root Earth, have him be a Gatekeeper of sorts, so then having it be a normal ad later on makes sense. And then have Cancer guard Annihilation.

I've only ever had Nightweaver once(RNG), and that was at launch as my first boss. Having Losomn and Nightweaver story first thing was a great first impression that I'll remember, but that grab drove me insane. That was a straight up one-shot and with how hard it was to dodge with my no gear, first character, it took many many tries. But that fact I still loved the fight anyways says alot.

The only issues that I personally have with the tier list is Venom,on apoc he's very difficult because of that stupid slam attack that you can only dodge by going in him and also when he's flying,he shoot's those arrows that glue themselves to you,so even if you survive the initial hit the explosion will kill you and you can't do anything about it,also he punishes you severely for dodging to much like the chat mentioned ,I had a lot of trouble with him and lot of people can relate but everyone has their own preference

Stop using enigma, and you'll learn how to deal with those much easier. Phase 2 orbs has a constant push towards the back and getting out of range of enigma renders it useless for that part. I think it’s the exact situation that took place when I asked my chat in the video! It’s either, you hate it, or you love it… I don’t think there is a wrong take. I think that there could be an argument made for both sides! I’m very much in the middle of the road solely because I don’t have extremely strong feelings about the fight. To me, it’s nothing special, but I don’t find it oppressive. It’s different for remnant to have a boss that literally does the same thing every single time.

I hated that fight in my first run through I love doing it now. It's a nice change of pace. The only thing I'd personally change is once a floating cube is down it shouldn't be able to attack so frequently if at all. It feels a little cheap to be dodging attacks from something you've already essentially killed just to get put in the path of an instant kill. I've never really died to it after my first playthrough but I can see why some hate it.

I really don't like the cube boss. On apocalypse, all the little projectiles deal too much damage, forcing you turn your attention to them constantly by either shooting them or dodging them, which can wind up ruining an opportunity to shoot one of the rotating cubes, which connects to my least favorite thing about the fight; the fact that you can to wait for the correct side of each cube to rotate towards you. There are a few cubes that almost always keep one of their sides out of your LoS (like the one floating near the wall above the entrance) and waiting for it to rotate the way you need it to can be seriously tedious, especially if you wind up missing an opportunity; which can happen a lot if you play with a controller. I actually switch to keyboard and mouse just for this fight because it feels insanely cheap when the controller camera movements are too slow to catch up to the side of a cube that is rotating away from you, forcing you to just watch in vain as the weak spot leaves your view.

Annihilation really felt so fucking great. The first time ive seen these swaps were such a mindfuck and felt so refreshing and new. The concept is great, the music is great, the feeling is great. One of the best bosses ive fought in games. S+ tier boss. Would put nightweaver in s tier as well, introducing the asylum through the guy at the gate, finally getting there, learning about the nightweaver, the patients and the doctor etc and finally finding and seeing her for the first time, it felt so great. Never experienced the one shot everyone is talking about, so Maybe that's why, but the fight felt so great and so rewarding, I loved it, one of my favs.

I don’t like legion because it’s fight is more annoying and lengthy for how interesting it is. It has a total of two (technically 3) attacks and the rest is just allot of adds, it takes forever, I just get intensely frustrated every single I get him cuz I’m just like “let’s get this over with…” and then he’s done, and I feel nothing. I’d put him in c because yes the adds are well implemented but if he dissapeared from the game I wouldn’t bat an eye.

Even without stunlocking Gwendil its just such a boring fight. Trying to save the dran from being burnt feels 10x more like a boss fight than Gwendil. Bloat King is easy D tier for me as its just really boring to me and at least with Abomination I have specific things to aim at to expose its weakspots and shoot the explosives on the ground at the right time which give the fight more personality. Abomination is like super low C as I just cant lump it in with Bloat King and Gwendil. I think Shalhala in either form is the coolest fight in the game. Its very fair, cinemaric, and chaotic without being too overwhelming.

I love annihilation, he was one of the few bosses I beat on my first try. He's really cool, he's very well designed, basically everything can be dodged. He's just fun as hell, haven't died to him once lol. Then there's the cube. I HATE THE CUBE, even to this day I can spend up to an hour trying to kill that damn minecraft stone block!

I agree with a lot of things on this list, but I can't forgive The Nightweaver not being S tier, she's my favorate boss in the game and one of my favorate ever. I agree that the grab is annoying, but that's because the delay is longer than you expect, it can be learned. And that's why the boss is brilliant, every single one of her attacks can be learned and avoided and it's never BS. I spent the better part of a day on her and like an hour on Dullain, but the latter made me rage instantly whereas I never got mad or bored of Nightweaver, the only time I got mildly frustrated was when I accidentally activated the alternate varient and she got back up in phase 1 when I wasn't expectint it. Every time I died to Nightweaver it felt like my mistake and I knew how to fix it, it's a perfectly coriographed dance of a fight and it's everything I wish more bosses were. As another note, I thought the corrupted Raveger was kind of too easy, he has a lot of attacks but like half of them have the exact same timing and hitboxes, I was avoiding his entire combos on my first blind attempt, it's good that they're well telographed, but I didn't have to learn the fight like I did with Nightweaver.

okay okay..I feel this topic is controversial, the way they should fix it is, labyrinth cube boss should have a way around it if you've beaten it once..for a character.Today I did it first try and this shit never happens to me, but it did, later I even helped some randoms with it. And when I first saw it I thought I could never win this, even got pissed off cause I gave all my money to be able to play this game(I am a pretty poor bulgarian) and this blocks me..pun not intented..but hell, such an amazing feeling after it. It is not the best part of the game, and people like me who panic a lot hate this one, should be skippable at some point, I could never play a hardcore character and now I am confident I have a chance.Anyway..S tear, but make it skippible after this one grand memmorible time.

I less wish it was skippable, and more wish it was optional (i.e. there was another boss in place sometimes). For me, it has gotten to the point where it is so formulaic that it feels as bad as running into Gwendil when you can just shoot her bomb until she does , stunlocking her into oblivion. It is a nightmare to those that haven't found a way to solve the puzzle, and it is a cakewalk to those that have mastered it. I like your idea! Cube IS the most controversial pick on this tier list, after all... next to legion

Tal Ratha (Meta) Regen + Spiteful (or was it Vicious?) on Apoc is kinda BS. That ring can easily 1 shot you if you are not specced to ultra heavy armor with Fortify. And those stars circling - that last phase of it can 1 shot you as well. In the latest phase he also does some weird throwing sh* which can 1 shot you. Yeah most of them are easily telegraphed but boy it was tough. As there is almost zero room for a mistake. But I just basically started playing on apoc, I guess there will be more 1shot BS bosses waiting, like Shahala. Hate her :D So much stuff is going on there

Some attacks can become extremely oppressive depending on the modifiers. Some bosses become outright impossible depending on the situation (in my HC APOC run, I got corruptor + regenerator and I just flat out insta-lost because of it). When I call things easy to dodge, this isn’t always the case for most people, I’m just a sweaty nerd who’s got about 275 hours in the game. I will say that, as crazy as Sha’Hala is, it’s worth taking time to learn every attack (expecting to die) just to figure out how to dodge it properly. @@IHaveInsipidus What I figured was that I was playing much older version of the game (382.788) so the boss modifiers were completely bonkers (+45% to damage for example), so you had to dodge perfectly pretty much. Also armor wasn't as strong as with latest patch. I had only 220 AR with full Leto's + maxed Fortify lol. the game was truly a different beast when it came out. Now I'm playing latest version and it feels sooo much easier

maybe one question - where is the best (fastest + easiest) spot to farm corrupted lumenite. No glitches pls, that F11 jump crashes my game so I can't do asylum jump

Cube is F tier trash. Worst boss in the game.

Cube goes straight down to F tier. It's a puzzle with instant kills. Get that garbage out of my game. Not even hard just an annoying waste of time. I want to fight a real boss. Absolutely hate the final boss as well. It's exactly what I want but WAY over done. Absolutely massive difficulty spike even for a final boss and if you're playing coop, you're just going to get teleported and randomly die as he hits you in the back because he wasn't focusing you originally. Too much visual noise, too much audio noise, stop teleporting me every 5 seconds. Just bad.

Sounds like a skill issue on your part tbh. If you kept dying and didn't take the time to learn the boss patterns then that's on you.

A lot of this footage was taken from various KZbin videos on the platform. I have beaten apocalypse many times and have about 300 hours in the game. I have also seen the many new “corrupted” and have covered them over the course of my few most recent videos.
