Came across this yesterday, got it in The Hatchery dungeon, spotted the capsule being lifted and noticed the broken walkway and thought "haaaang on a second". Jumped on the capsule and immediately died, not realizing just how quickly it ascends, thankfully got it on the second try. When I rerolled N'erud today, I actually got it in the Void Vessel Facility, so can confirm it can show up in at least both locations.

For real. I just recrolled this map in the video last night and kept playing till 2am because I kept finding more secrets than I did on my first run. I now realise that last night I had this exact room and even looked off of that edge and didn't even realise that this sword was hiding right in front of me 😂

The Huntress spear is pretty sick, you can apply the melee modifiers to a very accurate spear you can throw at even boss weakpoints or across the map. There's also a lightning axe from Yeasha that can do the same. Being able to aim the melee weapon up and down is the biggest advantages. But I like the spear the most.

Since you asked for suggestions: For my Melee Build, i've been rocking Challenger/Alchemist with Juggernaut and vial choice depending on the situation. Stone for more survivability and Frenzy for more damage/speed. Weapon - Stonebreaker but I switch out occasionally for other options for fun. Huntress Javelin and Krell axe are fun for thrown melee and Dreamcatcher is great for its potent AoE slow. Amulet - Matriarch's Amulet - 35% Melee damage and melee attacks restore 10 stamina Rings - Fae Warrior Ring - 15% Melee Damage - Dying Ember - 5% melee lifesteal - Compulsion Loop - On kill, 5% fire rate/attack speed for 7s, stack 3x - Fae Bruiser Ring - Melee damage gives 2 stacks of bulwark for 7s. Doesn't stack with itself. I come out being very tanky with a hefty amount of DR thanks to challenger and stone elixir and Dying Ember allows me to trade with almost any enemy without fear.

Hello @Arekkz, since you asked for a melee build, here is what I'm currently running and having a blast: Side note: it's a work in progress, I can definitely squeeze some Bulwark and Haste here, as well as usage of Atom Splitter Archetypes: Handler/Challenger OR Engineer/Challenger. I expect that lot of mixes with challenger would work Core Traits: Regrowth and Vigor. Rest is up to one's liking, I personally prioritiezed barkskin and Endurance Amulet: Matriarch's Insignia Rings: Dying ember / Fae Warrior Ring / Rerouting Cable / Generating Band Weapon: Any that one feels comfortable with. I use either Spectral Blade (charge attack reaches quite high and far) or labirynth staff (better dmg and area of attack) Mutator: Shield Breaker Ranged weapons don't really matter - Anything that lets one dispatch some flying enemies or chip down some chonkier guys The point of this build is to have shield all the time - either you're attacking or dodging, Your shields ramps up up to 50-70% of your max HP. Having shield makes you regenerate HP incredibly fast, which can be boosted even further by a dog, should you need that. Due to a shield/HP regen going constantly, I hardly find myself in a situation where I'm pinned, aside from situation where I'm surprised by some aoe before the fight starts Have a good one, everyone!

I just got this last night before clicking on this video. The dungeon can spawn in the first area but it was the dungeon that travels to the second open area for me. I found it in the hatchery. Looks like so much fun, can't wait to use it more.

Thanks for this it was very helpful. But something you didn't mention is that the robot arms take out platforms from 3* different levels and to have a better chance of success wait for when it takes out the one closest to the top.

@Arekkz Gaming you probs wont see this as its a couple days later but for melee builds, get the, "matriarch's insignia" amulet, the "fae bruisers ring", "fae warrior ring", the "wax sealed ring" is nice as well and run the "striker" mutator on your melee weapon with a lvl 4 stonebreaker (the great sword that drops from the corruptor boss if you don't ever disable the golem during the fight) im hitting 500ish on normal atks and around 1k on heavy atks. my class is challenger. thats what i have been running not sure if there is any other melee stuff yet but that is what i have found.

I found that room attached to the Logistics Bridge Dungeon - so I got that sword and the Zero Divide Amulet in the same go. Pretty sick... might be changing up my build again.

I got this in Vault of the Formless. These dungeons are not set in stone, the items are spawned in the ProcGen block (the matrix robot area) which can be placed in a few different dungeons I guess.

Hey, its the birthing/cryo sleep pods layout that spawns the Atom Splitter. I just got mine from "The Dark Conduit" dungeon in the second area, that had the birthing/cryo sleep pods in it.

for "pure" melee i use challenger with juggernaut using stonebreaker greatsword with reinvigorate +10 mutator, matriarchs amulet, berserkers crest, drakestone pearl, dying ember and burden of the destroyer. as for the traits max life steal and armor. for relic use resonating heart for additional healing in a pinch. for shards use melee dmg, melee speed and melee critrate. for multiclass i suggest engineer to counter lack of ranged damage with his turrets. as for gameplay you mainly pop juggernaut and go ham with heavy attacks while lifestealing for 20% hp each swing. you can switch matriarchs amulet for decayed margin if you need more sustain over dmg or downward spiral if you need more gun viability. you can easily mow down elites and no brain ground bosses although this build wont work on flying enemies and faster bosses( ravager, nightweaver etc)

Its said the Blackout ring also can be found here. I found neither the splitter or the ring, just a different one. But I didnt find the large room with pods. Only a purple ring awakening a GIANT orb that follows you and seems indestructable

Okay, so after weeks of trying some random finally got it for me last night. I was running veteran adventure, it spawned in putrid domain. Funny enough by the time I FINALLY got it I was so accustomed to the Shahalla sword that I felt the atom splitter was underwhelming. Which is weird because I have been wanting this sword so bad. Idk, I guess I gotta do it proper and run a challenger and a build to suit it. Funny enough I got the atom splitter and the nebula, and the navigator’s pendant buff all in the same gaming session at just an hour before midnight 😂

just want to say for other viewers, that this injectable (meanings some of addition to the world, like these spining pods) can be injected to what ever dungeon you have in ner'ud, for me for instance it was in The Hatchery. Plus, the guardian save tools did not even show that

Do you have any more info to give us like what difficulty you are on was it campaign or adventure what does the full map look like? I have re rolled over 15 times as haven’t seen this area. Done every variation of boss battles and ending ect. The dungeon names don’t mean anything they are random along with the tiles. But I have not got this hallway spot to spawn once. Have done the exact same tile and entrance as this and still nothing. Is it on veteran only or can it only have a chance to spawn in the 2nd or first area? I’m at a loss but this getting frustrating

Video is wrong. You don't specifically need Void Vessel Facility. You need the Claw injectable. The injectable is rare and can spawn in any regular underground dungeon. NOT infested underground (space crabs). The dungeons are: Void Vessel Facility, The Putrid Domain, Vault of the Formless, and Dark Conduit. The injectable is rare so it's possible you need to reroll a lot.

That room with the moving arms seems to be able to spawn in a multitude of different dungeons. I got it in back to back rolls of N'rud in different dungeons. Both times were in the 2nd area (I think). Just gotta find that room.

Getting this piece of shit is violently infuriating. The jump you have to make is simpl,e, yet the developers have made such an absolute shite job with the jumping mechanic that will often lead your braindead character to simply roll of and kill itself. Should you land on it, you have an incredible small window of time to jump to where you need to go. Here the developers spring into action again and have made it as such that if you're too slow, you die, if you angle it just a tiny bit wrong you're hit with a purple screen, it lies and tell you that you're dead and you respawn. Without the internet, a lot of people would have given up long before discovering this secret because of how inorganic it feels to get it. The myriad of mechnical failures and deaths would lead most people to believe you shouldn't go this way.
