yup, this is the end of the dlc for me. the respawn time with dying in one hit is enough for me to give up.

If you are having trouble, it helps to run explorer with plainswalker and some movement and traversal rings

I thought after you jump across to the 2nd platform the arrows start shooting behind you so I kept rushing and messing up. Once I realized they stopped I instantly passed through the entire thing lol.

I have a video about that too, it is the Combat Armor Set. You just need to come back to the room after completing it and pulling the lever to drain the water. You'll be able to drop down now and get it.

Where in the dlc is the proving grounds

It is a random dungeon so it might not always spawn, its entrance location can also change so you'll have to keep rerolling and checking until you find it. That said, it is guaranteed to spawn in your first DLC run. If you are in your first roll, then follow the primary objective until you get to the Primal Hollow checkpoint. From there follow the path until you see an elevator and another path. Take the path and you'll get to the entrance of the Proving Grounds.

Followed the path in room 4 for but the hidden path closes...what gives? Stupid game...

You have limited time to do it after opening the gates by stepping into the red pressure plate, if you don't do it fgast enough the gates will close and you'll have to try again.

A yes, more of these garbage traps, more platforming in a game without prope rjumping and platform controls. I slide off the edges constantly, die despit enot being hit by arrows and the charatcer is so fucking slow crawling up from ledges he crawls up INTO the arrows. This garbage is what i HATED with a burning passion in the standard yaesha locations and they choose to make more of this horrendous shit...this dlc so far has been an infuriating irritating slog and i wonb't bother with this shit anymore. I beat the game on apocalypse and that was infinitely more fun than this shit dlc.

At this point you should already know that this game is random everytime, no one will tell you where it is cause it changes everytime. You need to keep rerolling until one of the dungeons is this one.
