I think I may have experienced the first bug because in N'Erud the door is bugged and I can't get through so I'm going to have to wait for a patch and hope they fix it

When you do the reroll campaign, do you start from scratch or only in the areas you want to repeat?

everything starts from scratch. you lose quest items but keep everything on your character

I have all Archetypes leveled up to 10 and lots of weapons on 10-20. Do you lose the exp and levels on your weapons when you reroll? Do you start back at Powerlevel 1?

I beat the entire game Solo Veteran and never saw a single piece of Hardened Iron, so how did you level up your weapons to 20 & boss weapons to 10?

I'm thinking of rerolling as I got nightweaver as one of my first major bosses and I'm completely stuck. I'm playing a hunter sniper build and the close quarters combat of this boss is all but impossible for me.

Ok managed to kill him. The crazy thing is, the 2nd phase is actually less difficult than the first phase once you know what to do. Had to change my loadout, u need a machine gun for this, so used the machine gun that is a handgun with fire on it. First step, learn to dodge his smash attack and keep using the machine gun to shoot him and the bugs that spawn. Having the healing power really helps too. 2nd phase - stay right down the bottom where u started. do not go up the stairs or in any back room. Stay in the middle and learn to dodge towards his attacks. Use the pillar in room to run around and dodge. Stay away from ALL walls. Shoot, use healing circle power, shoot his bugs, refill ammo then take him bit by bit. It takes time, and it is tough, but it is doable with this strategy.

I would agree, but can’t always be done. I seem to be stuck on the 2nd phase of an annoying boss (spoiler free). None of my friends will be available for about a week, so I’m thinking about it. I played remnant 1, and understand how it all works, but have a question. If I reroll, does the NEW campaign reflect my character’s “power”? If it does, as it follows as you progress, this would effectively make the entire game HARDER the second time around, having enemies match you in biome 1 right away. I’d test it, but it’s irreversible. Sounds like you rerolled, do you know?

This is what I planned on doing, but I started the game on veteran and playing by myself I got hard-stuck on a boss with nothing else to discover. So I'm gonna reroll on survivor and try to finish the campaign that way

@@nicholassorensen9035 I think it will be always 1 level biger than you. But if you have good equipment it is like on normal difficulty. Last boss is terrible

first campaign I picked handler and got handlers starting gear and weapons. If I rerolled my campaign can I pick a different starting archetype and get it's starting gear? Or do you end up skipping that part? And end up having to buy from whispers?

The entire campaign your going through. If u want to refill a world wait till u kill the world boss, then u can unlock the world in adventure mode and reroll as many times as u want in adventure mode

Does it matter if you're on a hardcore character? Rerolling campaign shouldn't take away weapon level or anything I've gained so far or end my hardcore run for that character?

I'm also playing it now , bought on steam sale, just finished my campaign and got into adventure rerolling/farming, basically you want to reroll the campaign if your stuck on it or to get certain items. Getting stuck can be solved by changing class/build/farming for level etc.. but some items can only be acquired on campaign as far as I understand because you need a quest item from one world and deliver it in another world, on adventure you can reroll a new world but only play on that world, not travel between worlds so once you leave that adventure world or reroll again you lose the quest items, or in other words you cant take quests items from one world to another on adventure mode or from adventure to campaign. There is only a couple items that require this so you prolly gonna run campaign like 2 times and then farm whatever you want by going adventure and reroll until you get the areas/bosses you want in that adventure. For example the Ravager on the forest has like 4 different items that you can get depending on whether you help the doe , help the ravager, kill the ravager or start fighting ravager and let him eat the doe.. You can grab one of them on your first campaign and then reroll adventures in the forest to do the others.. An example that would require campaign reroll is the nightweaver web thing that you feed items into to get some item.. and one of those you get from another world and deliver there, you cant do that on adventure so you need to do it in campaign and since campaign is randomized you sometimes don't get the right combo of world areas to grab certain item, that will require you to reroll campaign in hope of getting the right combination of areas in the worlds you get.. This game is a pain to complete 100% because of this... also some people might have a much harder gameplay because you might be playing ranged for example and always pick the options that give you melee items... and looking for guides is also troublesome because of the randomization its hard to write a guide covering all the possible combinations and random locations. It seems you might be able to join someone online game and get the quest item and bring it to your campaign to avoid rerolling it but Im not sure this works..
