Great guide and a fun build. I found that root water elixir can be used to counter the bleed, rather than sinking trait points into regrowth

I decided to use this build today, just with the Knotted Armor just because I hate the look of Leto Mk II. This is now my favorite Melee Build I’ve seen

Switching to the Neckbone Necklace will give you flat 25% more damage and makes any build with the bleed ring and the hardcore metal band a tanky hybrid that deals good range damage and is tanky+ the broom is just the best melee weapon with the bleed ring.

I loose on the crit chance in that case. Overall, I get more DPS with the crit based setup. Neckbone is a good option of course.

Just a thought. What about the insulation driver amulet? Gives 15% damage and grants haste when bulwark is active

Both give perma haste. While constant 15% dmg is nice, I can easily sacrifice that 15% dmg for 20% critical chance, which produces bigger numbers more often compared to Insulation driver. Your idea isn't bad, just that I tried it before and settled down for this in the end.

You mean Overdrive mutator? No, This is better for a constant 25% increased damage and when you bleed enemies, your life steal goes up by another 3%

Yeah the lifesteal is probably the better thing. But dont forget that overdrive gives a total of 45 crit dmg and 25 chance on top of the 45 this build already has. Which will probably give higher dmg output i think. Im gonna test that out. None the less. I really like this build 😇

@@JLDubzz Apocalypse is a whole different ball game. You will need all the life steal you can get. Some bosses can't be tanked with this and I had to rely on the DR from the crystal heart on top of everything.

​@@rohvertvokay hear me out. If you switch out vampiric blade to overdrive. And prob cord to the 6% lifesteal ember ring youll deal more dmg and lifesteal more

@@JLDubzz yes, a perfectly viable option. I don't use it because I like to be versatile for situations or bosses that cannot be hit with melee. Which is often. I don't like switching builds too much just to deal with flying enemies or bosses. Probability cord allows me to deal extra crit damage with ranged weapons too. With this setup, your base crit chance is really high, combined with an extra 10% with Fetid wounds. As always, in my videos I give everyone my explanations to why I use the setup and always urge everyone to try their own variation. Let me know how your build goes tho, its a good alternative setup to what I have 👍

reduced stamina cost from Juggernaut, Powerlifter passive. Also, we won't be using charged melee attacks at all in this build so that helps conserve stamina.

Closest Amulet would be Abrasive whetstone but it would require you to apply bleed first. Not a problem since you have the tools but you will have to keep the bleed up to get the benefits of many things in the build. Or you can fit Blood Jewel ring in the build to apply bleed with melee. Another option is to use Decayed Margin, you gain more lifesteal and/or melee damage. You can also use Matriarch's insignia, Insulation Driver or Whispering Marble. However, with all these options you lose on the crit chance. If you use whispering marble, you can remove hardcore metal band and replace it with Blood Tinged ring.

I use Matriarch’s Insignia with Heavyweight’s ring instead of Probability Cord. It’s less crit oriented but still puts out crazy damage For more options, Challenger in the Prime with Frenzy Dust Alchemist or Deathwish Ritualist works well for high damage. Frenzy Dust will let you swing faster, and Deathwish will give you higher damage and insane lifesteal.

could go even further by making your rifles only be used for the mods, of which you would use mods like Ring of Spears and Nano Swarm for damage even while not using the guns.

True. However, I would like to have decent ranged options since not everything can be killed with melee. So many bosses and enemies are fliers.
