Great vid. You can’t trust a band who considers a drummer as good as Sam replaceable

I'm so glad to have just discovered Remo Drive. Even though I'm a few years older than them, I grew up right by them and it always excites me when I hear of small, but intensely loved bands from suburbia Minnesota get traction like this.

im very excited about watching this video!!!!! i havent been able to find anyone simply breaking down their history and it seems so interesting especially their decline in the midwest emo scene so thank you for posting!!!! im already loving it

To reduce Title Fight to just a “pop punk” band is like actually egregious

Yooooo we need more remons to be represented. Too many GH fanboys type beat. It was amazing yeah but they said that the scene was lame and they didn’t fuck with it so I get it yk

Damn you really ripped into Natural Everyday. I didn’t like it much when it came out but with time it’s actually grown on me so much. I really love it now. Even Portrait of an Ugly Man is growing on me. I think I just really love and appreciate Erik’s songwriting abilities

Those twitter posts were so nonsensical and egotistical. Nobody asked for GH2 they just wanted the energy and atmosphere that made that record great. As an artist you def have the freedom to express yourself creatively, but as a professionally paid artist you also have to serve your fan base and not criticize them when you yourself can’t take criticism.

there is the deal, they do music for themselves. not for money, not for “fans” (mostly they’re acting as haters)

I still resent them for those harsh replies to their fans. I can understand a band wanting to evolve over time but why tease us with that EP just to actually go the other way afterwards. I think the second album was decent after needing to hear it a few times. It doesn't seem so artistic and genuine though. Then the third album to me sounds like a copy of bands and not taking inspiration from them. It just sounds like his best Jim Morrison impression slapped on top of the skeleton of their own band. Half Mannequin seems very genuine on the other side of the coin though. Greatest Hits and Pop Music has memories tied to me listening to it. I'm gonna say it truly was their greatest hits

I saw them perform late summer 2017 and it was epic. 3 piece emo bands hit different. Great energy and passion. Saw them again 2018 on their tour with Beach Bunny and they were losing steam. Beach Bunny ripped and over shadowed them. Then again in 2019 and they completely lost it. Boring show, no energy. Havent seen them since.

I miss the classic trio with Sam. Also they just released a new single and it’s not to my liking 😔
