I love how real you are with your content. I've totally used a hamper to haul out tile & drywall, I put in a lawn bag in it & it was a tall hamper with wheels. Sadly, it didn't survive my abuse, but it served my needs at the time. lol I love the inspiration board & I can't wait to see the other videos.

🤣🤣 I use my laundry basket for everything. I try to go up and down my stairs as little as possible and I can make less trips if I throw it all in a basket

I’m scared too! I’ve never replaced a bathtub and I’m intimidated but I know there are so many resources out there to help me. I enjoy the challenge of figuring something out (with lots of help from KZbin and google) and then accomplishing it on my own. It’s very empowering!

Oh I love this, it reminds me of the bathroom remodel I did in our bathroom about 6 years ago. I took it down to the studs on a couple of walls, replaced our garden tub with a claw foot, built an in between the studs niche, painted our vanity and installed a new marble top, added a new commode, installed crown molding, put in two chandeliers, painted the walls and tiled the floor! Girl, I was tired and couldn’t move I was so sore, but it turned out amazing….can’t wait to see yours!!

I’ve not used joint compound, so this might not work, but have you ever tried “sanding” it with a damp sponge? It eliminates the dusty mess 😊

🤣🤣 you’re right, I have lots more projects to come but it’s not quite as dramatic as starting from scratch as I’ve done with all the rooms before. Maybe I should have you all sign a petition for my husband to agree to move again. He couldn’t care less what I do to the house but he hates moving.

Thought - Wonder if the bathroom was designed for kids to use, hence the short sink counters, kid height. I have the same exact tile on my bathroom floor. I plan on taking it out and replacing it when I re-do the bathroom. I need to take out my tub and do a walk-in-shower. So....good to see a bathroom remodel for tips & tricks.

I had the same thought about the height for my other bathroom that my kids use but for a main en-suite?? Who knows?

I suppose it was standard height. 🤷🏼‍♀️ GREAT JOB on all of your projects! Can’t wait for the reveal. But I know you and your husband must be much, much more excited! 😆
