Great job! We used peel and stick subway tile in our camper remodel as well. I just put a drop of crazy glue in each corner and we haven't had any issues with the tiles not sticking.

The white looks so nice and fresh, great job. I love using "bullseye shelack" as a primer , it covers any flaws you might have and gives a great serface to hold the paint

I have a 2000 25' Jayco trailer. Looks similiar to yours. I took valences down and put up curtains but other than that I am not putting the time into it. We hope to get a new one in 3-4 years with a bigger bed and access on both sides. Thanks for sharing.

Use the corner of the handle on your putty knife (butt end) to push those holes back in. Then mud over them. It works awesome that way

Rust oleum tub and tile spray for your shower and sink that’s turned yellow will turn it like White porcelain

How good is the peel and stick tile holding up, and also the contact paper countertop? I am about to start a restoration on a 69 Holiday Rambler and the countertop in the kitchen is odd shaped. Great video.

The peel and stick flooring has been fine. The peel and stick “tile” in the kitchen has come loose a couple times. But nothing a little glue hasn’t been able to correct. The contact paper countertop has had zero issues. It’s actually more durable than I thought

I noticed that your shower is quite yellowed with age, you can paint a shower with boat paint. Make sure you keep the windows and doors open because it is an oil based paint and is quite smelly. The trailer looks nice and homey, a nice retreat when you take it out.

We are getting ready to do the same to an older camper. I have been doing some research and found that people are using appliance paint on the tub and plastic sinks. Going to give it a try and see what happens.

for plastic fixtures model car paint will work the best and not leave a long lingering stink behind. the only thing that is super-special about appliance paint is its need for high heat to make it fully "cure" and you wouldn't do that to plastic fixtures.

The finished product looks great. Did you have to remove any of the old linoleum?

I didn’t have to. Just made sure it was clean. After sweeping multiple times, I wiped the linoleum down with alcohol to ensure it was as clean as possible

Great job! We have the exact same TT but have never actually been in it.(Long story!) We will be seeing it in May and I am wondering if there was any underbed storage in the original unit when you bought it? Is it just a platform with drawers or hollow? Thanks!

It was setup with homemade bunk beds when we bought it. I modified the bottom bunk and made it a platform. I left it open underneath. We use it for laundry basket and luggage storage when we are camping

Hey I have a 2004 Chevrolet Cadillac 23' footer and I need help in trying to renovate it it's in the shop now getting an overhaul and is it easy to put brakes on a classic small 23' Is footer RV

If you can do brakes on your car you should be able to.

I can fully appreciate that you enjoy the all white look however (from a resale standpoint) if you ever want to sell your rig, the worst thing you can do is to paint everything white. Once you remove all of your personal items the coach is left looking "cheap" and possibly dirty (if you use it much). If you ever decide to sell it try repainting the interior with multiple shades of grey and/or tan. take care and enjoy! ✌

@@loyd2ndchapter I actually like the white. It would have been my choice for a nice clean look. I do like what you did with the etched glass cabinets. The only advice I got is to add some color. A light blue pastel or mint color for that burlap I think would have looked better. Also, they have glazing for your shower area but I'm not sure how good it would work. You could try it on the sink first. It comes in a can.

It does look good but the thing is, you've done it exactly the same way as everyone else has redone theirs. Meaning that it's going to become that it looks really 20's and old fashioned before you know it.
