Brings back memories of all the remodeling we've done. Every house, many, many businesses.....and all together. I always said WE designed it, he did all the work (with my help) and then I did the fun part, putting it together and creating a look. Now, I'm 75, he's 77 and has stage 4 cancer. I still have lots of creative ideas, but we can't do it anymore. Enjoy it while you can.

I grew up in Louisiana and we would go crabbing all the time. We used chicken necks and slowly pulled them with a string and the crabs would grab onto them. Then I'd scream lol and my brother would come and grab it for me and plop in the bucket. After a full day of crabbing, we'd go home and have a crab boil....and eat them. Yummmm Yum....

I have learned since it is a vacation home, you want easy clean lines. The reason being, you have to clean well every time you leave. Something you can just wipe down quickly. Nothing dust catching. Not a lot of figurines etc.

I just love you guys. You seem perfect together. And you act real, not fake. I live on the East Coast, Maryland. Our crabs look a little different, we have what is called blue crabs. We would crab with a piece of chicken tied around a string with a fishing weight on it and scoop them up with a net. So fun.

I love how the little house is slowly turning into a little home away from home - I have a 630 square foot little cottage and down the street is the beach on long Island sound ❤ - when I had it redone before I could move in (wish I could've done it myself) Anyway, when the walls were still open I made a little jar filled (shell. Sand, glitter. Charms like heart peace sign cross etc, a little blessing rolled up Into a scroll. My name phone #date. contractors card etc) then he placed it inside the wall before he closed it up as a trinket or treasure for someone else to discover many years from now❤Blessings from Andrea
