More companies need videos like this with the artist having a good amount of extensive playing at the end of videos. Not just short tiny clips and most of the video of them talking. We wanna HEAR what the heads/drums/cymbals sound like. Thank you remo for this legendary video.

Bruner plays MUSIC. I am a blink-182 fan and a drummer and I know that all travis can do is play fast and sell what he plays. Travis is arguably good but Ron Bruner Jr. is absolutely great. Great Job Ron!

@2cfhdh1 - All Bruner's playing has an underlying groove. Playing like that doesn't come from someone with no time or feel. If Bruner was in session and the producer asked him to keep it simple, he'd keep it simple. He just likes to chop it up, and his phrasing is lyrical and inventive.

weckl is way better Ronald like most drummers plays really fast and that's all he plays
@andyham60947 жыл бұрын
alex civijovski love those tama starclassic hyperdrive drums. Think those are starclassic BB’s cause the shell color inner part of the bass drum hoop is not the dark reddish Bubinga color. Even tho the BB’s have the inner plies of Bubinga tama makes the full Bubinga kits darker to differentiate the two. But BB or full Bubinga it doesn’t matter they are both top notch amazing kits. I have a tama starclassic hyperdrive BB myself and i wouldn’t trade it for the word. A lot of Remo promo videos the drums are mixed kinda weird and sound strange. Too much reverb and echo and just sounds off.

Buddy Rich was never arrogant or full of himself? Hehe. Anyway, don't judge a drummer on one, or ever a few, youtube videos. I saw this dude play at Ronnie's with George Duke and I promise you, it was all about the groove - until his solos, when he wowed the crowd with some ridiculous chops. Check out the video on here of him with Chaka and George playing 'Take The A Train', and come back to me telling me his breaks aren't tasteful AND jaw-dropping.

@SuperAnimalDrummer You Don't need to know EVERYTHING to be a great drummer. Obviously Buddy's legacy is as one of the greatest of HIS ERA, and he laid down the foundation for those of us after him to explore the possibilities; ie independence, diplacements, etc..In the arts you have to take it past were you found it; that's our responsibility as artist to advance it further than the next..Each one teach one.
