Who made this world though? I tend to blame our parents. But, I don’t know. The 40/50 year-olds circa 2000. That generation with the AOL mergers, the W Bush era. Our generation has been able to vote for a long time, and as the echo-boomers we have large and increasingly younger population as new generations come of age. Why have we failed?

Our childhood was the best ever. Even though we were living with the prospect of a hot war with Russia and AIDS, things were vastly more creative, inventive, and optimistic. Movies were funny, now classics, TV shows became iconic, music had variety and artists for everyone.

Man this brings back the memberberries. I used to have the biggest crush on Kari, who didn’t at the time. This show was also the first time I saw Adam Sandler, to bad he wasn’t in this episode. Oh and love the commercials, I forgot all about Adam Curry and his mountain high hair haha. We used to call him the guy with big hair. Thanks for sharing this gem.

Seeing that commercial for that MTV1-900 number, what scams they were. My sister and her best friend rang up a nearly $200 bill calling the "New Kids on the Block" hotline when we were kids. They had to work off the bill at my dad's store the entire summer that year. I still tease her about it to this day.

Crazy... Two things that really stood out: 1) There wasn't 3 minutes of commercials every 5 minutes of game time. If this show was filmed today, there would only be time to select 3 or 4 channels. The rest of the time would be commercials and confessionals with the contestants. 2) Tricia was an undeclared major and not too ashamed to admit it. My kids basically needed to declare their college majors when enrolling for classes their freshman year of high school.

The funny thing about this show is that the budget was obviously so low ...that all the contestants, talent, and audience were all from the Tri-State area. They couldnt afford to pay anyone to travel to the studio lol

@@glennhubbard5008 I liked Sliders, & didn't mind her so much on it, but, on Swamp Thing, I started to see the Kari Wuhrer(Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson)same damn character portrayal thing. Can't tell her characters apart. Just figured - she's your basic pretty face, T & A actress.😅
