i just test it not big fan i think i will stay use ssh and vim from terminal for now. since i use git/github and only use ssh for vps

why do you need run commands as sudo when you have logged in as root?

Probably good practice. Usually if the server isnt yours, you wont have root access and would have to use sudo if you have proper sudo rights.
