Hey Berno, just came across video and it was good! New subscriber here! Your Japanese is good! I am a little less fluent than you are lol But It's a good practice to hear you speak Japanese. 頑張って! I rarely comment on videos, but I just wanted to say that I can relate to you. I grew up in a Christian home and for many years after I left the house I didn't go to church and did my own thing. I Tried to fill the void with money, partying, alcohol, women and all that. Looking for meaning, purpose, deep connections and all of that. About 6 months ago I started to look more into Christianity and compare it to the other religions. I started listening to a lot of Christian apologetics videos and I have learned so much about Christianity and it's truth. And now I realized that what I have been searching for all along was Jesus and his love, joy and peace. I am like that parable of the prodigal son that left and came back home. (Luke 15:11-24) We have a God sized hole that we try to fill with things of this world, but only Jesus can fill that void completely. I just want to encourage you brother that the truth is out there, and his name is Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) I recommended you watch these Christian KZbin channels to learn about Christianity. Wes Huff, Cold Case Christianity, Cross Examined and Cliffe Knechtle. I am going to be living in Kyoto in late February, if you come and want to hang out! Feel free to hit me up for anything bro!

Also mate, really enjoyed the Japanese speaking/listening section - please keep that in as a feature! Like you said, it'll serve as a sort of record to see your progress over time and it's helpful for us too 🤘 Personally, I think your Japanese is awesome, and considering you speak English as well as I do (I'm British) - you should be proud of how well you can now speak yet another language (I'm presuming you can also speak some Spanish - I think your 両親 are Peruvian, is that right?). Anyways, keep up the good work brother but remember to look after yourself too! Mata kondo

Thanks , glad you liked the Japanese section. Working on it. My parents are from Ecuador actually 🇪🇨. And I’ve been living in Germany since the age of 2 🇩🇪. My parent rose me speaking only Spanish at home. So I speak 3,5 languages. Japanese not quite fluent yet haha.

watching you or other people having this lvl of japenese in 9 month, make me really be amazed by the guy who got the N1 on 1 year from beginner. ( idk if you saw somes video about him )

I’ve seen the guy you are talking about on KZbin. He must be super diligent. Great guy. On the other hand I’ve met people who passed N2 or N1 but can’t speak much Japanese. The JLPT doesn’t say much about your proficiency , only about how good you are at taking tests. Specially because there is no speaking test. My opinion.

You really have to defrost your ice compartment. 😅Did even fit something in there? 😅Your PC is soooo small. I got bigger a year ago... from a medium case to a big tower because it's way easier to upgrade over time. Lifehouse Fukuoka is a church? Looks way more fun than the traditional ones even the interieur is not like a "real" church. I can't correct your Japanese because mine still suck. I'm still a beginner. 😅I like it, that you try to speak more and more Japanese in your Vlogs! That does help me, too! There's sometimes no translation when you speak Japanese, so Non-Japanese speakers will not understand it. Sadly, I can't pause my job to go into a language school in Japan for one or two years and I can't work remote. Also I can't quit for that time because it would be hard to get a new one in my age (nearly 50). Tricky situation for me.

@@KardoganLR yeah I definitely have to defrost my fridge haha, I’ve been saying this to myself for weeks. Yeah the church is pretty fun, the people are nice too. Usually there is some sort of socializing after church with the others always. Yeah I had some technical problems with the subs in the end, next video will be better. At least go for vacation to Japan if you can. Some people come here for a couple weeks up to 3 months with a tourist visa to study the language . There is short courses too. Thanks for watching

@@bernoGarcia With luck, I will have my first Japan trip when I'm 50, maybe with 51. Can't travel earlier because of the finances. It will be 3 weeks at most (maybe only 2 weeks) because I can't get more vacation in one go from my company.
