One thing I am noticing as I apply for positions is - The remote work seems way more competitive than the in office work. So many more applicants on the remote jobs, in many cases 100+

That does not mean they are qualified applicants. Because remote jobs are so desireable, people frequently apply blindly without having the requisite skills and experience. In my walkthrough videos I illustrate how competing applicants for digital marketing roles are often heavy in customer service, leadership, and other irrelevant skillsets.

The jobs I am speaking of are primarily in Western countries such as the US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. You cannot be hired as a salaried employee for these jobs unless you are a citizen of these countries or if you have a work visa due to labor laws. If you live in a non Western country you can either get a job in your own country or you can freelance for Western companies via sites like upwork or fiverr. If you want to access the course try a VPN but please be aware that the job market in your area likely differs from what I am showing in the course and videos.
