@@Teddy_B_Ridn Quick question...Do you remember the color of the two wires you tapped into for power to the actuator?

Hey what’s up! Been super busy. So I choose the right saddlebag wire harness to tap in to. I followed the two wires that came from the actuator under the lid to where it goes in the larger wire harness on the inside of the saddlebag. Then I found which wires it connected to when the other harness was connected on the outside of the bag. Now for some reason the connecting wires, the ones I needed, in the outer harness were a different color than the ones coming from the actuator on the lid so I just made sure I followed the pin spacing. The two wires I taped into on the outer harness for me was the two peach colored wires. One with an orange stipe on it and the other with a red stipe on it. Sorry for being so long winded but I wanted to try to be a clear as possible. Hope this helps… 👊🏾✌🏾

What wires did you connect to exactly? and what did you trim at the actuator exactly.? Thxs

Hey what up 👋🏾… I trimmed the actuator housing plastic cover and backing just below the circuit board inside of it, giving me just enough to clear the curved area of the tour pack wall. As far as the wiring, I followed the wires coming from the saddlebag actuator to the wire harness in the rear wheel well and tapped into those… Hope that helps… ✌🏾
