Nice! I did something similar with a nodemcu and a few simple spst-no relays and instead of a web server, I just listened for a specific UDP message since it normally takes less flash memory on the board itself, and for me it was easier to implement. One very complicated update to this project would be to utilize the computers PCIe slots somehow since that would pretty much remove the need for the end product being outside of the case making it seem cleaner, however, I haven't thought that far just yet.

Maybe 2 or 3 optocouplers in parallel would reduce the resistance(if this is the issue) enough to work. Turned all on by the same pin or each optocoupler by different pin.

I just wanted a local "extension" of the button also for reset i can easily use from any device. As far as I know WoL is not supported by trunas or must at least be supported by the hardware. Also it can only be used for starting not for shutdown or reset. Please let me know if I am wrong.
