Why Did I Shave My Head?!

HELLO! I finally sat down and made another video (I apologize for the wait)! I thought I should share some reasoning as to why I actually shaved my head and what caused me to make the big decision! :)

ok but girl i'm 18 too and i have so much admiration for you, doing this takes a lot of courage, i myself had super long hair down to my butt and i had never had it short until i was 16 and decided to cut it above my shoulders, and just that was really hard, my hair was my safety blanket and walking into school the next day was terrifying, i had an oral presentation that day and boys made fun of me and kept saying i looked ugly, disgusting and stuffs with that haircut while i was in front of the whole class, it wasn't fun at all but i couldn't care less, cutting my hair meant a lot to me, it represented me trying to get out of my comfort zone and challenging myself, i have always wanted to shave it but never had the courage to, maybe one day! & wow, you are gorgeous, i don't think i've ever seen a girl prettier than you, you totally rock that haircut, you gained yourself a new subscriber!

I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in march of 2017 and i was 17 at the time. I decided to shave my head before it all fell out on its own and it was such an empowering feeling. A few months into chemo i started to lose a lot of self confidence because of my bald head and other effects of chemo. You shaving off your hair just shows that hair does not define your beauty. Thank you for being an example 💜 Also i just found your channel while trying to find hairstyles for a pixi cut as my hair is the length of yours now. Just subscribed and im happy to have discovered you 😊

Thank you so much for this. My son is 4 and has stage 4 rhabdomysarcoma. My son loves to wear dresses, play with his dollies, and is so excited to grow his hair out so he can wear a pony tail. He loves touching other people’s hair. He wants to be called beautiful and he has no idea how beautiful he really is. Thank you again for this. It made me cry how strong you were to do this. I will never forget when we shaved his head when his hair started falling out. This has been the most difficult thing I have ever experienced in my life but seeing others support the cause makes me feel chills. Sending love!

Thank you for what you did. I am a mother of a 11-year-old girl with cancer, I shaved my hair too to support her and make her feel confident and confortable about her losing her hair. Of course she looks BEAUTIFUL with no hair, and so do you (now with short hair) I believe hair does not define what's within a person 💕

You are beautiful inside and out . Your hair does not define you. You learned that lesson at a young age. I also shaved my hair 4 months ago. Your decision of donating your hair makes you a really good person! I Think there should be more people just like you. I shaved my head too some months ago, and for a girls like us is an important step, but I don't care what people says and now I'm shaving my head once a week with no guard on the blade. Whats your plane about your hair? I think you should keep this lenght, maybe cutting the side and the back. I hope I did not disturb you. Keep going on!!

I have very very long hair and of course i love them a lot and i don't know if i will do it 🙄 she's such a good person I'm so happy she had the courage to do it .. I'm really interested in the st. baldricks foundation. I think I'm gonna talk to my family about I'm sure they'll let me shave my head being that 80% of my is already shaved. hello jo you have a great start you will have a great pixie in about 3 weeks a pixie cut is a short layered cut it is cut as an undercut your top needs a little more growth and the sides so they can be cut by layers but what you have now could pass for a fade you are in style ladies are getting cuts like yours short hair is in style all over the world ed
