Hi i'm planning on buying a android unit. But al the units say they for the models 2004-2012 but my x3 is from 2003. I have the radio unit without the little red display on it self. (Only the big screen that flaps out) Do the android unit work with the 'older' radio units and does the idrive unit that comes with the android unit also works? Thanks in advance...!

Do you have to cut the part protruding up from where the mount sits to make the mount fit correct ?

Hi TV SAT NITRA, Gooday mate. Actually I need your little help if you can help me and solve the mystery please???? ok so i have BMW X3 2004, i have installed the Android unit and its works perfectly fine. but what i wanna do now is, i wanna keep the original BMW radio in working mode same time( as its stopped working cos antenna cable not connected but power is still there. (i am planning to get new cable and connect the main Antenna line connect with this like T Connector) do i need to change any other cable to keep both running same time?? or the Original radio will start and work with sound once i connect the Antenna ??? please advise??? Thanks in advance. please guide me in details. as soon as possible and as you gets chance please... Cheers.

Hello, Everything remains the same - no change needed, but you need to connect the Android display. If you want to listen sounds from LCD display (KZbin app), you should to press AUX button. If you have other questions, do not hesitate to write us. Thanks
