Hello, Greetings I'm inquiring about my next step. My father was principal applicant on our F4 petition, me and my mom were under same petition as derivatives. Immigrant visa is approved and we have booked our flight for 30th November. However, unfortunately my father(principal applicant)passed away in India couple weeks ago and I'm in confusion about my next move. What if you're here legally then your identity is stolen and the identity thief is convicted of crimes and appeared in immigration as the victim then removed all in the victim's name which neither law enforcement nor the immigration courts bothered to confirmed his identity? Then the victim without clue of what's happened is denied his renewal of his permanent residency but immigration won't tell him why and threaten him with detention if he showed up at their office. Then the victim is detained after a missdimeanor arrest by ice and released because they figured out they've made a mistake, then they raid the victim's house and shackled him and hauled him away to be detained again to be released one more time after once again see that they made a mistake in the deportation. Can I sue as the victim
