So many ask Jesus to be their Lord BUT they never MAKE Him Lord. It's a bit late when you come before Jesus on judgement day and He says "Get away from me, I never KNEW you." That word "KNEW" is the same word for intimacy in marriage. Serving God is exactly that =serving!
