It worked, but then came straight back. Another Windows Explorer Refresh and Icons went black. delete line and Ticks reappear, so a total fail for my W11

It seems Windows might have reset the changes or encountered a cache issue. Go back to the Shell Icons registry key you created and double-check the 29 value. Reapply the value if needed, then restart Windows Explorer using Task Manager. If the issue persists, try rebuilding the icon cache: Navigate to C:\Users\\AppData\Local. Delete the IconCache.db file and restart your PC. Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can fix this issue. Let me know if this helps!
