REMOVE BLACK BACKGROUND FROM PLASTIC JPEG | PHOTOSHOP 2022

Hi, in this new tutorial, I will show you how to remove the black background from a plastic texture and turn it into a PNG file.

HOW TO EDIT
STEP NUMBER ONE:
Open your image in Photoshop and, with the "command" or "control" button, press the right mouse button on the layer.
Copy the image with command or control + C.
Remember, before doing step one, you can edit your image and make it blacker.
The black part will be removed, and it will become transparent, in my case I preferred not to modify it because I want to have a more realistic texture
STEP NUMBER TWO:
Create a layer mask and with command or control + Alt click on the layer mask with the right mouse button.
Now open the mask editor, with command or control + V, paste the image and click on the image layer.
It's done, you have your plastic with a transparent background.
You can modify your mask to blend it more with your image.

If you have a Mac, and can't get the layer mask to turn white, when you select the layer mask, press the "option" keyboard and then I'tll work

Just fyi, on newer versions of photoshop, you just need to press alt (option) on step 2.
