If an o-ring is used to seal between the Bell and the transom housing, does the o-ring go on the Bell after it is assembled and then install the transom housing last??

The o-ring goes on the groove in the bowl after assembly and then the transom housing is installed.

Where'd you get that gauge on top of the packing glands?

That is a spring pressure grease fitting that was customer installed.

@@Powerboat1 I have that same thing on my boat and the zerk fitting has ripped out of it and damaged the plastic that it is molded into. Any idea where I can buy a new one??

On the u joints is there only the 2 to pick from or how do you know which one you need?

Yes, there is the 1310 for standard applications and the 1350 for very high performance (500/600 HP +)

@@Factory928AC Are you trying to figure out what you currently have or what you need to set up new? A stock or mildly upgraded 454 would normally use a 1310.

Powerboat 1 I snapped the joint. The markings are so hard to read I do not know what one I have or need . I can read the stamp on the spline but the number pops up nothing

Who are you and how do I send my jet drive to you! Haha Do you rebuild drive? Berk 12je with aggressor bowl and such. I just want to drop my boat off like this guy did!
