I've seen some rough augers in my day. That one is right up there for just plain old wear. The new one will pay for itself just in fuel savings! LOL.

Moulton AL has a steakhouse in a grain bin. Dad and I ate there once on a parts run. Has that combine ever been in rice?

No this combine come from Streator Illinois about an hour from Peoria. Ran in the flat black ground ice cream dirt all its life till it came to west TN

Russ, high moisture plus high yield corn is just as bad on augers as rice.

I have a question.. on the vertical shaft I found a spacer and spring in between the bearings. They were not arranged in the proper order due to the bearings coming apart. What is their position when they go back together?

I got a 9500 I just put a new belt on the cleaning fan RPMs up a little bit still can't get 1100 RPMs of it

Be careful busting them bearings with a cole. chisel. I have been carrying a piece in my chic off of a 4400 combine since 1983.
