Great video. Clear and to the point while still being accessible to someone with little to no knowledge on the subject. Thanks so much!

Question: What do you do with the wires after they're cut and labeled? are they still live wires that you tape off or do you eventually remove them?

Put wire nuts on them then duct tape them individually so they can never touch each other.

Can I ask why you wouldn't want the heater warming up the bus while you are driving? We have a separate heater in our camper van that runs while the van is not running but it's nice that the van heater warms us up as we drive.

That's a really good question! I know a lot of people like to keep theirs in, especially by the driver side, to stay warm while driving. For us, we are not full-time, only vacation travelers at this point, and we live in the deep South U.S., so staying warm while we drive isn't as much of an issue for us as it is for other people. We have some alternate plans for heating when necessary, including a diesel heater and possibly a wood stove.

If I may...another reason to remove it is because if those coolant lines leak, you're going to have a TON of coolant going everywhere. Those heaters are great for their use with a school bus, but in a home setting with finished wood everywhere, there are better options for heat. You can also plumb the pipes under the bus, but then you have to add more holes where they come back up into the bus, and now you're letting those lines be exposed to the elements and critters. If those lines puncture, you have no more coolant for your engine...now what? You also want to reduce the number of penetrations you make in your bus interior to exterior.

I feel like you’re gonna regret this when you decide to go somewhere in the winter! Hopefully not though.

Ok so now what will you do for heat in cool to cold weather and another very IMPORTANT feature what will yyou use to defogg your windshield in cool to cold weather and you will not be able to see out the windshield without having a heater to defogg or defrost your windshield?
