This whole series you have done is by far one of the best engine swap video series I have seen yet. Your understanding and knowledge of the mechanical aspect is very impressive. I have two teenage daughters that I"m going to have watch all of your videos - as you are now a great role model. My wife and I are impressed with your work. I came up on a 5.3L LM7 and a 6.0L aluminum L76, the 5.3 is getting a big 88mm turbo and almost stock bottom and going into my 69 RS Camaro, but my bmw 04 325i is starting to go to shit, it’s a pain to work on and everything needs to be super specially n expensively ordered, contemplating gutting that engine and putting the 6L in it. I know it won’t be a walk-in the park though

It would be a little more work, but if you use all of the original smog components from the Camaro, you should be able to get it approved by a CA smog referee. Obviously you won't need to for this car, but it's an option for the future for other vehicles.

In my opinion putting a ls3 v8 on a 3 series 4 door doesn't feel right, the coupe perhaps.

-You want an LS, buy a Corvette, exactly the same thing I tell those who want an LS engine in a E46 chasse/ IT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. #1 E46 has better options like S54 boosted #2 E46 is a BMW chasse that has all components BMW interchangeable but NEVER Chevy making it more difficult or incomplete with GM And the most important factor is, an E46 BMW is a BMW if you put an LS engine in it it is not a BMW any longer and its not anything else, its SHIT Its a Mod kind of vehicle that has no brand and no soul and its literally something that has no value simply because it has no origin. Its just STUPID
