Thanks for including the issues you ran into and things that did not come out as originally anticipated. Your engine replacement will help me when I start on replacing the stuck engine in my '37 Ford in a couple weeks. Nice car!

Thanks. Good luck with your '37!

Finally something worth subscribing to. Hopefully YT doesn't play games with your channel like others are experiencing. Now back to paying attention. ✌️

@@QuickSpeedShop I will be sharing as I'm jumping around now watching. Appreciate your time and effort.

Thanks for sharing! It "looked" like it really came apart without you having to go to any real extremes...which has rarely been the way stuff comes apart for me! The undercarriage looks great...'can't wait to see it after you have cleaned, prepped, and sealed it! I dunno...something about that whole process really satisfies my OCD! Enjoy! Be safe!

This car is really clean, just surface rust from sitting in a barn for 40 years. I'm going to clean it up a bit. This car would be a good candidate for full resto at a later date.

Amazing removal - could you play that song again on the banjo? Keep safe under that '37.

When I drag out the replacement rear I'll have dueling banjos.

You really lucked out with the fasteners. It could very easily have become time for torch action.

The car is really clean underneath with very little heavy rust.

Me too. I hope it all works when I get done!

I remember fighting with that stuff with my 36 sedan, and then I found frame rust and ended up taking it all apart anyway. Doing those jobs on your back are no fun

Luckily this car is very solid, only minor surface rust from 40 years in a barn.

Water is heavier (Density) than gasoline! It would have sat under the gas not over it. Something else caused that rust hole. That is why water in a fuel tank is such a problem. It settle to the bottom where the pick or feed tube is.
@QuickSpeedShop2 жыл бұрын
That's true. I don't know why it rusted there. Actually there are baffles in the tank and maybe moisture sat on them and rusted the area, I don't know.
