Removing the Front Cover of a PC case

Oh and btw, i got a realy old pc that you just put the case on the left/right its like a office pc, there is a hdd in it and i want to put it in my own pc but i cannot open the case of it, you got any video on it?

It depends on the model, but generally on the back of the cheaper cases there are 2 screws for each side panel, take those screws out and than the side panel can slide to the back and come off.

furulevi i dont realy know the model of it but i know its a HP and that what you said i cant find, cant i just break the whole thing apart to get the hdd? I dont know where the hdd is tho..

PCs made by brands are a bit more complex, so try to search by the make and model how to take it apart.

Oh fuck. I have worked on a few towers, but I have never had to remove the front before. Knowing this is great, but the reason I am learning this is to get a god damned spiders nest out of there. Spiders heads were fucking sticking out of it, and I had to spray them down. I do not want to get my fingers anywhere near that shit, gloves or not. But alas, any way to get even one salvageable pc piece, or a decent case cannot be put down by me. Even if I have one of the worst cases of arachnophobia I know of.

Ummm what if you can't physically get to the latches on the case. I have a Raidmax Horus case and I reaaaaally need to replace the fan in the front but I can't unless I take the front panel off.

The stupid fucking drive bays and shit are in the way so how did the people get it off in the first place? I've seen people have it undone but never showed how to. Fucking stupid.

try to remove every component that is around that area...

furulevi You couldn't. I found a video by some Indian dude and he literally said there were two ways of doing this. If there wasn't a way to remove it by pinching the latches. Just take your hand from the bottom of the case and pull. It will slide the latches out of place. It worked by the way, I got my whole front panel off. Placing it back on was easy as well.

@@habibridoy5764 I have a new and good case now, it works the same as my old case. All you do is put your fingers under the bottom of the front panel and kind of lift upwards but mainly outwards, like you're trying to rip it off, it won't break, it will have a lot of resistance. My newer case doesn't have nearly as much but the Raidmax Horus case is cheaply built so it's much harder to take off the front panel.

Take of the left side of the case and try to do the same as I did in this video. Cases are different and it might not be the same.

This used plastic clips and that should just snap back, so check for stick wires...
