Removing the Inserts on the Graco Extend2Fit

CPST on Demand: How to remove the optional inserts on the Graco Extend2Fit convertible car seat. (Infant body pillow, head pillow, and strap covers.)
The body pillow can only be used in rear facing mode. The body pillow is only required if the baby’s shoulders are still below the bottom Harness slot without the pillow.
The head pillow is optional at all times.
The strap covers are optional when rear facing in the regular extend2fit. They must be removed when forward facing. (EDIT: October 2020: Graco manuals have been updated to reflect that the strap covers are optional at all times. Please contact Graco with any questions, 1-800-345-4109)
However, on the extend2fit 3-in-1 if you have a forward facing child who is 25lb or less, the strap covers are required (but really the child should be rear facing as long as possible)
