Removing Wallpaper And Prepping For Paint

Welcome back to our KZbin Channel! Our channel is dedicated to bringing you painting videos to help you transform your house and your mood. In this video we look at the often frustrating task of peeling off wallpaper.
As you can see in this video, this was just about a worst case scenario! When wallpaper only comes off in little strips and you have more than a hallway do to, you can really start to build up those labor hours if you let the timing get away from you. It's critically important to stage out your wallpaper removal in a way that doesn't allow the chance to damage the drywall.
Aaron's tips for getting it done the right way - "don't force the wallpaper because your chance of damaging the walls can go up. Take your time, and ensure you don't have more touchups than you want"

Is the sealer only used because of leftover wallpaper glue that would not come off even after the hot water/3mm pad clean? Thanks for a detailed video!

Sped up video is a waste of time for your viewer, it doesn’t show you anything. I would like to have seen more of showing exactly what you used and slower on how you did it.

@@genaworsham7542 there isn’t much to removing wallpaper besides gripping it and ripping it. The trick is to get it off the walls with out damaging what’s behind it.
