They are both decent brandies. The darker colour in the Remy Martin is not necessarily an indication of better quality, but could mean a hefty addition of industrial caramel colouring - e150.

I just bought the Camus VSOP - Costco $40. Remy Martin VSOP was $36 but they were out. I prefer the Remy. Remy Martin is an intense German Shepherd to Camus docile Golden Retriever. I prefer Remy.

CHAMPAGNE, not CHAMPAIN. Cognac is not Champagne. Two different things. Mixing a fine cognac like Remy Martin with anything, let alone a sugary cola is like letting a 14 yr old drive a Ferrari and wreck it. Cognac is a superior type of brandy. Mixing with cola so it tastes like a cheaper brandy is not smart. If you drink at this age when you are still developing your mind and body, it stunts your growth. Body and brain become smaller. It also makes you impotent. And the double sugar from cola will make you diabetic.

Remy Martin is a cooking cognac. You cook with it. Low quality, full of caramel and alcohol. It is a duty free shop brand. Buy Martell VSOP. Much better and also cheaper.
